About this deal

Babooshka-a song that got me interested in this singer, the style is unique while also extremely thought provoking with it's unusual lyrics even with todays music it is strong and as exceptional as when i first heard it, a classic in many different ways as it shows kate's interest in literature and human nature taken to new heights. Ever since the mastery of her debut and with entries like ‘Wuthering Heights’, Bush has been a game-changer, but Never For Ever succeeded in its mission to signify her as an indisputable marvel of music and fuser of alternate worlds. I have to admit, I'm totally biased towards Kate Bush, having every album she's produced on Vinyl, CD and MP3. Bush created a marriage of groundbreaking, up-to-the-minute technology with little-used acoustic instruments.Es sind nicht nur die unvergesslichen Geschichten wie "Babooshka" oder "The Wedding List", die begeistern. The first two albums had resulted in a particular sound, which was evident in every track, with lush orchestral arrangements supporting the live band sound. This remaster is surprisingly warm sounding for a cd, and gives a little extra punch/oomph where needed, without spoiling the original sound balance.

It also contains some interesting Album material; such as 'Violin' in particular and 'Infant Kiss'; the former beginning quietly, and ending up in a kind of 'frenzy' but a great Piece of work and art. Similarly, ‘The Wedding List’ was influenced by François Truffaut’s 1968 film The Bride Wore Black, a revenge film featuring a widow who murders the man who accidentally shot her husband on her wedding day. Delius (Song of Summer)" was inspired by the 1968 Ken Russell television film Song of Summer, which portrays the last six years of the life of English composer Frederick Delius, when Eric Fenby acted as his amanuensis. album and was also the first album by a British female solo artist to top the UK Albums Chart, as well as being the first album by any female solo artist to enter the chart at No.Never for Ever was a pivotal album in Bush’s career, marking her transition into producing her own music, and the cover art reflects the album’s artistic innovation and emotional depth. Gaffaweb - Kate Bush - REACHING OUT - Never For Ever Debut with Peter Powell - Radio 1 - Oct 11, 1980".

Much like the album cover, which symbolises the diverse facets and emotions of life, ranging from the sombre to the radiant, the album’s sound, along with its title, Never For Ever, encapsulates the notion that this amalgamation and turbulence are all transient and that nothing endures eternally. kate Bush is a one in a million artist, and that is certainly a well earned title to have, i have always loved her since i heard Babooshka and Running Up That hill, therefore i decided that i will purchase each of her albums one by one. It would prove to be her only tour for various suggested reasons, a few being a fear of flying and the death of her stage lighting director Bill Duffield, who fell through a trapdoor while finishing up after a show.already this is one of my favourite albums of all time after owning it for just a week, Kate is that sort of artist. During October she also undertook promotional appearances for the album throughout Europe, most prominently in Germany and France. Whilst still not quite capturing the 'magic' of her debut 'The Kick Inside', this Album was definitely better and more interesting than the previous release: 'Lionheart'. One thing that did surprise me is that the 'worst move' mispronunciation from Babooshka wasn't addressed - it should have been fairly easy to soften out that 'T', but hey, that's a minor pedantic niggle 😊The packaging is lovely, it's now a gatefold digipak, and having the whole album artwork in your hands is much nicer than the much smaller image and black spine of the jewel case, and this adds to the vinyl-like experience. As a pioneer of theatrics and pyrotechnics, it comes as no surprise that the artwork for many of Kate Bush’s albums evoke that precise level of extraordinary: her debut album demonstrated this beautifully with its depiction of Bush holding onto a large dragon kite, gliding across a vast, all-seeing eye.
