About this deal

In the closing volume of her thrilling saga, Christelle Dabos transports us back to her wonderful fantasy world. High school students Fiona and Miles are recipients of a swanky internship for tech-giant, Briola, in Germany. I have this nostalgia but I never grew up like Clare so, as Beverly said, that is what makes a great author. At times, it felt like the story was a little long-winded or rambling (kind of like my review, thanks for noticing).

When she's not working, Sarabeth hosts the My Nights Are Booked Podcast and a blog dedicated to books and interviews with authors and actors. I know this book is not going to be for everyone but if you like a fast paced adventure with a bit of romance you may want to give it a try. They’re flown on a private jet and set up in an expensive hotel, but it all falls apart when they take a cab to Briola only to find an empty warehouse with every physical and online trace of Briola wiped from existence. Slowly, they both start to piece together anything that can be labeled a clue or an idea of what’s going on, but even that doesn’t lend any clarity to their situation.

When they were struggling financially, Light a Penny Candle was published, which made her an overnight success. I did want to know what happened to them, but since that wasn't really answered, I feel like I wasted all the time I invested in this book. I will admit, at first, I kept getting "Lost" vibes, but I've quickly determined that it's not because Echoes is unoriginal, but because any story that involves a plane crash, a deserted island, and a thrilling mystery, is going to remind me of that show. The small, coastal, Irish town is one in which everyone is the same, same traditions, same staunch catholicism, same poverty of spirit and means.

Fans of LOST will really get a kick out of this one, but like its counterpart be prepared for thousands of question and only a few answers at this time.

Sharing never-before-told anecdotes – including the heady Rockfield Studio sessions and touring across the US, playing sold-out shows at Whisky a Go Go and experiencing the iconic New York club scene from dusk ’til dawn – and accompanied by snapshots of the cultural, social and political scene at the time, this is a memoir to remember. I didn't know where the mystery was going for each of the story, so I kept eagerly wanting to get back to each side to find out if I could sniff out another little clue like I was Scooby Doo. It gripped my attention from the first chapter and kept me just as entertained the whole way through. This book is so indescribingly awesome that I am once again, left in a state of shock and disbelief! Miles : "Despite all of this, everything your parents have done, I want you to remember that I'm still on your side.
