While he keeps claiming that he is a demon and to not be fooled, I still fully believe that he cares for and cherishes Nathaniel and Elisabeth. Also Elisabeth seems to carry Demonslayer around with her almost everywhere she goes, and I simply think that more characters should have emotional support swords like she does.

With how the other ended it, it looks like there could be potential plans for another novella or maybe even another novel?

i think readers who are nostalgic for all the feelings ‘a sorcery of thorns’ gave and were wanting an extended epilogue will really enjoy this short story!Regardless, this one had all the feels, all the swoons, and was essentially like being wrapped in a warm hug with a cup of your favorite warm beverage by a roaring fire. He does so much for both of them and he will help them with anything even if they don’t ask for his help. The three of them really balance each other out; Elisabeth and Silas remain level-headed while Nathaniel bounces off the walls.
