In the present time, Grace's youngest Russ has just started school and she has ventured back out into the workforce and gets a job as a PA for a guy named Clive. I enjoy but it didn't feel like the standard from the genre but instead it felt more like contemporary writing. In general while I truly didn't feel very attached to these character because of the nature of this story and the short time span, I just genuinely adored the way these characters were portrayed as flawed but willing to learn and grow. But this also highlighted some of the darker aspects of the bookish and author community in general.

Rinn is the half-Latine, half-white who is a bookish content creator on the Internet and is a sunshine with beautiful curls; has a huge crush on AJ, the art boy coworker. the story begins with the girls disliking each other, but as it progresses, they get to know each other better and eventually form a sisterhood of sorts. The latter half of the book is extremely thrilling as the true horror is revealed, and the pace really cranks up and compliments the slower burn of the first part where the scene is well and truly set for the reader. I got so many chilly willy's reading this book, with almighty twists that come out that you are not ready for, so fast pace as your reading right to the end that leaves you feeling a contentment and I'm done and happy with that, I will most certainly be looking out for more of this author's work to come , excellent read, well done, with an award of top star's is really something.The plot is a tad unbelievable at times and the logistics don't always work, but the characters are lovable enough that you will forget how ridiculous the whole thing is after reading a few chapters. I also hadn’t realized until I started reading but one of the main characters runs an enormously popular bookstagram, which was super fun to read about! It’s also quite annoyingly set up, with the whole thing stretched out unnecessarily, especially in light of the fact that the plot was so daft.

This is a story about Grace and a new job that she gets but things may not be all that it is cracked up to be.I found Grace hard to like for some reason but it was easy to comprehend her need to please people, and her unravelling was very well portrayed as she descended back into a troubled anxious personality, consumed by her inner demons.

I was happy to be offered to read an ARC of this book, I'm always glad to find new Authors and Nathan definitely didn't disappoint with this one.

But ultimately, while reading this story, I realized that the way it is written works really well for it. i’m slowly going through this bc i’ve been studying for my exams so i don’t have lots of free time but it’s been good so far ! Grace sometimes feels that she has inherited her grandmother’s mental illness and as a reader I felt her paranoia and confusion. I appreciated the journey these three young women took over the course of the story and was happy to see a friendship form between them. while she has her own mental struggles to deal with, which she learns to handle with the help of professionals, she is always willing to lend a helping hand to the people around her when they seem unhappy.
