To even the playing field slightly when there are different aged/sized children playing, the younger ones place their hand on the worm’s head then take one large step back, they then have to get the hoop on from that position without moving their feet.

Inside the Wobbly Worm box, you receive 4 extension pieces, 4 connectors, the Wobbly Worm head, an apple base, and 3 sets of three rings as well as an instruction sheet. He’s constructed by connecting tubes together so that the height can be adjusted to three different heights [good for little Hero who isn’t quite as tall as his big brothers] and when the batteries are turned on, he rotates and wobbles quite noisily [but then, everything in our house is noisy, I barely notice these days] whilst everyone tries to throw a hoop over him.You can make it easier or more difficult by adding worm sections; drawing a line where you have to throw your hoop from. The game is easy to put together and to disassemble, fitting snuggly back inside the box for easy storage. All in all we really enjoyed Wobbly Worm and think it’s perfect for those sunny days in the garden that we’re all hoping will arrive some time soon. We’ve been playing a new game from Spin Master Toys which is great in the garden, or works equally well inside if the weather is not on your side – Wobbly Worm. I still remember how difficult I found it to learn to tell the time – and Jens is at the age now where he wants to know [as does Yotie] what the time is independently. Installing the batteries requires a screwdriver that is long but skinny enough to get into the tunnels for the screws.
