In general, I really enjoyed his perspective throughout the book, particularly with regards to his own experiences and influences.

Overall, Soul Fuel was enjoyable enough, but it didn't have anything that stood out to me as marked from other books of a similar genre. Bear has done a brilliant job of simplifying Biblical concepts making it easy to imagine any God or higher power as central to each chapter. It's a book with 11 parts (Hope, Purpose, Determination, Relationships, Vision, Wisdom, Faithfulness, Courage, Forgiveness, Freedom, and Risk), which can be read independently and mixed.
