Claudia was one of the few nice adults in the story and it was obvious she really cared about Sunset and her siblings.I am not quite sure where it falls in as far as genre but I would say fiction/suspense with a fantasy element. I couldn't tell what was real and what was a side effect of psychosis, and the writing was so real and descriptive that it was almost hard to stomach in a few spots.
