I still enjoyed the read and as a lifelong fan of Patterson hope there will be more and that they are back to their best. It has all the usual characters Lyndsay Boxer, Cindy, Claire and Yuki who all make up the Women's Murder Club and all Lyndsay's colleagues and family and great to see the characters development. Boxer becomes deeply involved in the murders, risking both her badge and her life, and she’s forced to make impossible decisions with equally unpleasant outcomes. The friends then work to uncover these disparate issues, and the tension rises as each of them fall into danger along the way.
