About this deal

I personally loved the way the main character was portrayed and her relationship with her friends was very endearing. The ride to the climax really revealed the support system in place of all the demons and humans alike who have banned together under the partnership between the villainess and the cursed prince. Aileen is the female antagonist in a fantasy dating video game, and once her prince has broken off their engagement for the commoner with whom he has fallen in love, she becomes self-aware enough to have a flash of a sick person IRL and prescient knowledge that all her outcomes in the game lead to death in three months. EditBackground Akuyaku Reijou nanode Last Boss wo Kattemimashita is an adaptation of the web novel of the same title.

I want the romance and the trying to avoid the bad ending plot, but idk why they have to go in this weird direction like it's a light hearted comedy? But if there's one thing that we can all agree on, is that the show's pacing whacks in your face being faster than the speed of dating and harnessing a harem all at once, with everyone being the wiser. I’ve been reading a lot of Korean ones lately (which are really, really good but not published as hard copies) so this one is a pleasant change. A fantastic comedy in which you can't help but admire Aileen, the main heroine, and one who was reborn into the world of an otome game as the villain. To be presented the same setting 3 times in a row, albeit following the game's different layouts and characters symmetrical to the plot, it's a hard one to swallow for both anime-onlies and even LN source readers. The event triggers Aileen's memories from her past life—she has been reincarnated in an otome game as the villainess, who is destined to die in the final act.

She wants a happy ending for all of them, not just for herself—she’s not stopping at just one happy ending. Also, this may be a minor spoiler, but the duck scenes in the show are absolutely hilarious to say the least. The series has been published in English as I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss by Yen Press under the Yen On imprint since October 12, 2021. All because she was stupid enough to make it a joint business between her and Cedric back when she was still engaged to him. Taming the Final Boss' is a mildly enjoyable diversion at best: it's an uninspired romantic comedy in an uninspired fantasy setting with a convoluted premise, a badly rushed plot, and lackluster romance and comedy.

If I were to give a comparison, this manga is like My Next Life as a Villainess meets The Devil is a Part-Timer. It would be even better if they can somehow trample all over Cedric and steal the throne back from him, but I don’t really care what they do so long as he gets a bad ending for what he did to Aileen. Or how about this: reborn into fantasy high society, an ordinary modern girl has to act the part of a notorious noblewoman or face destruction. Also, this is the point where the ship started making less sense to me because there were too many heightened emotions and it does not fit with how little they actually know each other. It’s what you would expect from stories of ladies being transported into otome games, ruin to riches. However, she one day finds herself in the midst of a scene from one of these games as the story's villainess, Irene Loren D'Autriche. Aware of the tragic future ahead of her and determined to change it, the young girl resolves to conquer the game's final boss, the "Demon King" and Cedric's half-brother, Claude Jeanne Elmir, by making him fall in love with her instead. Rounding off the demons is a crow named Almond, after Aileen managed to successfully be tamed it to get to like her.

I got tricked into reading a manga adaptation of a light novel again, but gosh darn it if I didn't enjoy it again too. Where the story falters, the characters make up for the slack, and I would say that the good balances the bad to make for a decent product overall. For such a short series of just three volumes, the creative team has done a great job making readers fall in love with these characters while also providing plenty of laughs.C’était une lecture absolument génial et j’ai pris beaucoup de plaisir à me plonger dans cette histoire. Her feminine wiles aren't to be overlooked either, with a personality that makes everyone around her admire and even fall in love with her.
