Because the S12 Pro Breast Pump is a bit on the bulkier side (when compared to other brands like the Elvie Pump or Willow) — it’s a good idea to use a supportive nursing bra. It’s very loud and very bulky under your shirt. If you are looking for a discrete, hands-free pumping session – this isn’t going to do it for you! I do want to note that while the S12 Pro is super convenient to use for a pumping session, it is not very discrete. I’m larger busted and I feel like it’s quite obvious that something is off.
The motor itself also has a fairly large LED screen making it easy to see what settings you’ve selected and are using while pumping. You can absolutely hear it, but if you’re wearing a sweater or sweatshirt over the pump, it’ll certainly dampen the noise and make it harder for others to hear you pumping.
