This bomb recipe is named gold due to the colour of the drink when the Goldschlager mixes with the Red Bull. Jägermeister is a German herbal liqueur that is made from a blend of 56 different herbs, fruits, roots, and spices. It has a strong and distinct flavor that is often described as bitter, sweet, and spicy. The alcohol content of Jägermeister is around 35% ABV (alcohol by volume), which is higher than most beers but lower than most spirits. To serve a Jager Bomb, the bartender or the customer pours the energy drink into the larger glass, filling it halfway. Then, the shot glass filled with Jägermeister is dropped into the larger glass, causing an explosion of bubbles and a chemical reaction that mixes the two beverages together.
