In the opening, it is very powdery on my skin and the aldehydes are present which gives a crisp effervescence effect. Although the aldehydes are not as strong as it is in Chanel No 5. In the dry down, it becomes a warm, comfortable and sophisticated fragrance because of the vanilla and musk. Sandalwood adds a bit of depth at the end.
