About this deal

Embarrassing: Like stinky feet, body odor, or a stenchy fart, you never want to be the one that stands out in a crowd for all the wrong reasons. Anxiety makes you feel like you are the one who dealt it. You are the one who stinks in the crowd and everyone is going to know it, everyone will think it, but no one will say anything to you about it. Its embarrassing to have and makes you feel embarrassed around other because you feel different from others. Crowds, even small crowds are uncomfortable because anxiety is like flatulence in a crowded room -anxiety stinks! Alcohol may make you sleepy, but it impairs sleep quality, making you more tired, anxious and unhappy the next day. Kava, by contrast, can actually enhance deep sleep. 2. Masturbate

I’m bad about allowing my habits and boundaries to slip when times are good. I start eating poorly, I stop exercising, I stay up too late, and I watch a bunch of shows and movies that beam darkness and distraction directly into my head. Oddly enough, possibly breaking my finger didn’t worry me. What did worry me was one day when a kid was running for a touchdown, and another kid dove to stop him. He only caught the top of his pants, pulling them down and exposing his bare butt. He made the touchdown anyway, but while everyone else thought it was hilarious, it scared me to death. Slowing our breathing down really does work. Changing our self-talk around really does work. Diet works. Exercise works. Meditation absolutely works. But here is something that you need to really understand (and I don’t mean just a cursory, “Yeah, I know that,” but really understand): Changing long term, intense anxiety requires a lifestyle change. It requires daily meditation, daily practice slowing down your breaths, daily, balanced self-talk, regular exercise, and mindfulness regarding what you consume. Change your breathing. Change your thoughts. Change your habits. Change your diet. And if you are willing to do all those, then yes, you will absolutely change that anxiety.I’ve written and spoken a lot about my desire to be gentler with people. I’m not unkind, and I have a lot of compassion for people, but this is often expressed gruffly or too directly. It’s how I was raised, and I often feel like I am patronizing people if I walk in verbal circles when I’m trying to help them with something. Yet, at the same time, they also experienced a dramatic reduction in stress. Some of them even entered a highly pleasurable, trance-like state.

If you have been following me for awhile, y'all know how big of an advocate I am for therapy. Seriously, it has changed my whole life (I also wrote a whole blog post on this). I think it's such a great outlet to just get everything OUT to a neutral, third party who isn't there to judge you - only there to listen and offer advice. When I feel super anxious, I will even write out my thoughts (I title this list "Therapy Points" in my journal LOL) and I will make it a point to bring them up in my next session! This is a BIG ONE for me. Seriously, you do not want to be around me if I am sleep deprived... ask my family and friends. She is GRUMPY. Getting a good nights sleep is so important for me & let me tell ya, I don't mess around with my sleep schedule. I keep a pretty strict routine and aim to go to bed + wake up around the same time every. single. day. I've found when I am not sleeping enough, my brain simply cannot handle emotions and my anxiety is absolutely through the roof. Not only does sleep help me cope with feelings, anxiety, daily tasks - there's also so so so many health benefits to sleeping a proper amount. I'm going going to list 'em because my fingers currently hurt from typing this but just trust me. Sleep is your friend, friends! The problem is, everyone has to deal with anxiety in their own way. And it could take a couple of weeks, or it could take a few years.

Big life changes are scary, confusing, and difficult to go through. They end up making you feel lost and uncertain about yourself, but they can also bring some of the most amazing opportunities. Join us for today's episode to hear how Madi and Breann deal with some of their big life changes and how it has affected their mental wellness. Studies have shown flotation tanks to be highly effective in fighting stress, with regular 40 to 60-minute sessions offering benefits comparable to other stress-management techniques such as meditation, therapy and long vacations. Which might seem like a weird thing to say. I mean the main image we have of mindfulness is of someone sitting alone with their eyes closed. I know the above may seem a bit weird to some of you right now, but it’s not weird – It’s exactly how we should be and the only reason we’re not is because we have been ‘programmed’ since birth, to think and act in a certain way and many, many situations have affected your perception and actions along the way, making you the person you are today. This occurs when a person experiences involuntary movements due to an excess of the neurotransmitter dopamine. Symptoms may include:

READ – inspirational books, listen to podcasts about mind control. I would seriously advise the watching The Secret, it’s on Netflix and was pretty much the beginning of me realising that I’M in control, nobody else. But if you meet all these criteria, this might be the most fun way to fight stress. 6. Sensory Deprivation In An Isolation Tank Some people who struggle with anxiety may struggle to give their partners the love and support they need. First off, you have to be into it. If BDSM repulses you, it doesn’t become a good idea just because you’re stressed out.

Don't miss a thing

The bad news is that I can’t control any of the things that I think are creating anxiety. The good news is that I can control my response to all those things. Anxiety forces me to do this in a very intentional way. If you feel like you literally can’t wait to get medical advice, express the urgency to your GP’s practice and see if they can fit you in sooner If BDSM sounded like an odd way to fight stress, this next idea might sound like something out of a science fiction movie.
