The Bluetooth module included on the DM-40 is simply for easier casual listening. Making the DM-40 an easier speaker to live with day to day, the inclusion of Bluetooth broadens the speakers appeal. Only after the volume is above 70%, one can start to notice unpleasant artifacts coming through. However, having them blast at just below that amount will be more than enough power for most casual uses. The cabinets' curved front edges provide maximum rigidity and minimum resonance for a clean sound at all volumes - and they'll look good in your home set-up. The DM-40 also offers high volumes. Great for connecting a DJ controller to practice at home.
