About this deal

Hammond's books helped to transfer the ideas of deliverance ministry into the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, in particular the concept of demonic influence short of the demonic possession that requires exorcism by a priest. [4] Personal [ edit ] Well, that is what I thought… However as I have studied this I now see that things are not that straight forward for Christians. One aspect is that demons are ‘trespassers’– they have a number of ways to get into people and don’t tend to leave that person until they are made to do so. The New Testament makes it clear that it is only in the power of Jesus name that Jesus disciples could command demons/afflicting unclean spirits to leave people. So it follows then that when someone becomes a Christian unless demons are told to leave using the authority of Jesus name that demons won’t just leave.

What an absolute load of nonsense that was, I've read a few books on this subject and whilst I don't necessarily believe it I find it extremely interesting and love reading about it. It broke down all of the fake belief systems and church cliches and gave me real doctrine and scripture to explain deliverance and poke holes in my assumptions. I believed deliverance was something you were forced into and somebody lays you out and demons come out but - NOT SO!!!! So much more goes into it and this book gave me the tools I need in 2019 and this was first written in 1970s like whaaa!?!?!a b Kenneth D. Boa and Robert M. Overall this book does end up giving rather a different sheen on the Christian faith to your average Church of England experience of preaching and teaching. I bought this book when I realized that I had demons, and I had no idea how to get rid of them. They tormented me and I didnt know how I was gonna be able to survive.

To stretch the meaning of Mark 16:17,(18) to accommodate a strange variety of self-appointed people who seek to perform exorcisms for personal motives, but decline to be bound by any form of oversight or professional standards, and refuse to enter the priesthood to be ordained first, then authorised – the accepted and normal route (where they are properly screened, trained and authorised on a case by case basis), is wishful thinking and only benefits these non-authentic ..exorcists’, and… intelligent evil. I realized that it is christian after I had read about Jesus Christ, after I had cried out to him because I desperately wanted to become a child of God so that he could protect me from demonic powers, I realized that when Jesus saved me, chased the demons away and gave me a new life and a new Spirit. I realized that when I through the blood of the lamb became a child of the most high God. We were meeting friends who live abroad whom we hadn't seen for a couple of years so it was disappointing that we had to focus quite a bit on various complaints. (Why they serve bread that you can't get your teeth into, for example, I cannot understand?) This was amazing. I loved the teaching and scriptures. This is a great book for those looking to learn more about spiritual warfare, demons, and deliverance. The charts were so helpful. The experiences that Frank and Ida shared were so relatable. You read this book in 1973 while I was still in secondary school? and I read it only very recent ie. 2013…An easy read, very practical and down to earth look at spiritual/demonic oppression from a christian perspective. The book is written by a couple who has been up to their elbows in REAL spiritual warfare. They share what they've learned, good and bad. It will likely challenge, instruct, inform, uplift, empower, and motivate the reader.

Frank Hammond explains the practical application of the ministry of deliverance, patterned after the ministry of Jesus Christ. He presents information on such topics as: First book I had ever read that gave me clarity about what we are waging for and against. A tad edgy and certainly uncomfortable the first read but two or three times around new revelations came to pass in my seriously logical A type personality processor I would HIGHLY recommend all licensed and ordained ministers to read this book to help them in their ministry whether they are a evangelist, elder, pastor and so forth -- this is a fruitful book. Hello there - Effingham Park is not far at all, but not quite walking distance, I would say, mainly because of the roads in between being quite treacherous for pedestrians, especially at night. We would recommend getting a taxi perhaps, as it would only be a small fare. Hope this helps! Inherited from Middle English parlour, from Old French parleor, parloir, parleoir, from the verb parler ( “ to speak ” ); compare Medieval Latin parlātōrium. The only deliverance you will be shown in this book is the deliverance of your time, money and sanity.
