Doesen't help that Amiibo prices increased alot. The NFC tag on Amiibo's is only a 512 byte tag, and is dirt cheap to make. You basically only pay for the figurines. In Splatoon 2, while the Inkling Girl and Inkling Girl 2 amiibo share the same dialogue and features, the game differentiates between them. The rewards given by the original Inkling Girl amiibo are as follows: Kirby: Planet Robobot includes an amiibo feature that grants Kirby a copy ability depending on the character. The Inkling Boy, Girl, and Squid all grant access to the Poison ability for Kirby. The duo consists of an Inkling and an Octarian, Pearl Houzuki ( ホウズキ・ヒメ , Hōzuki Hime ?) and Marina Ida ( イイダ＝マリネ , Īda Marine ?). Pearl takes her Japanese name from the Northern pygmy squid (ヒメイカ Hime-ika), while Marina takes her own from the webfoot octopus (イイダコ Īdako).
