About this deal

Gold-/Platin-Datenbank (Metallica; 'Master of Puppets ')" (in German). Bundesverband Musikindustrie . Retrieved May 25, 2019. Anyway this version is the most different I have listen from the album and also the most lively and the most explosive. When the "Battery" starts, someone try to eat you alive. The music come with amazing explosion from your speakers and you feel them very closed to you. Also the insane brightness and sharpness can't let you to breath. You feel the adrenaline in your blood and you want to smash your head with headbagings.

Top Pop Albums". Billboard. Nielsen Business Media. March 29, 1986. p.H-16 . Retrieved July 27, 2013. It’s a wonderful insight into the machinations of one of the biggest bands in the world, as well as the fallibility that can only be overcome by hard graft and equal amounts of inspiration. The subsequent live discs realise the thrilling outcome of all that hard work.

All in all, this is one of the best versions of the album that hasen't "DM" mastering. The album is much more warmer with a lot of bass and explosion. Here you can enjoy the album pretty good. But be careful to get one good copy with great condition because my first one was in "VG" and it sounded terrible. And I do not forget to say that this vinyl has the most insane and realistic solos I have listened in any version out there. Suresly do not miss this pressing. Try to find one copy as soon as you can and when you get it, put it loud. I mean.. VERY LOUD. "Columbia House" cut perfectly the "Metallica" albums and I'm really grateful to them. This is easily the best version of the album in my humble opinion. After A/Bing my Speciality pressing with this one, I can honestly agree the Columbia House pressing beats it. Being that Columbia House tends to use their own stampers vs. what other pressing plants get, it gives this album a decent upgrade in clarity and brightness. This pressing has the explosion of the "1st Elektra US" pressings and also amazing power. Also you can feel the power of the drums here. In the "Japanese" and "MFN" original pressings you do not feel any power from the drums but in this pressing you get that. Also the music is very sharp but is thin and it lags on bass. To be honest, i prefer the album like that. I want "Master of Puppets" sharp with tight sound. No noisy sound or an extra bass like the "Vertigo" 89 EU pressing. Master of Puppets became thrash metal's first platinum album and by the early 1990s thrash metal successfully challenged and redefined the mainstream of heavy metal. Metallica and a few other bands headlined arena concerts and appeared regularly on MTV, although radio play remained incommensurate with their popularity. [66] Master of Puppets is widely accepted as the genre's most accomplished album, and paved the way for subsequent development. [67] The album, in the words of writer Christopher Knowles, "ripped Metallica away from the underground and put them atop the metal mountain". [68] David Hayter from Guitar Planet recognized the album as one of the most influential records ever made and a benchmark by which other metal albums should be judged. [22] MTV's Kyle Anderson had similar thoughts, saying that 25 years after its release the album remained a "stone cold classic". [69] Carlos Ramirez from Noisecreep believes that Master of Puppets stands as one of the most representative albums of its genre. [70]

Bayer, Gerd (2009). Heavy Metal Music in Britain. Ashgate Publishing Limited. p.82. ISBN 978-0-7546-6423-9. If the price of the item drops before it's released, you will pay the lower price, but if it increases, you'll only pay the price you see today. Wargasm's Venom: a fun as hell, genre-splicing, relentlessly entertaining ride, and one of 2023's essential debut albums Closing, it has the most noticiable bass and the most natural drums you can find. And it's the most brighter version too. The "Allied and Specialty" pressings have more punchy sound but also and more noisy and this one has more natural sound with amazing atmosphere and depth. Also the aggression is unbelivable. Do not miss this pressing. The band was not satisfied with the acoustics of the American studios they considered, and decided to record in Ulrich's native Denmark. [10] Ulrich took drum lessons, and Hammett worked with Joe Satriani to learn how to record more efficiently. [6] Ulrich was in talks with Rush's bassist and vocalist Geddy Lee to produce the album, but the collaboration never materialized because of uncoordinated schedules. [11] Metallica recorded the album with producer Flemming Rasmussen at Sweet Silence Studios in Copenhagen, Denmark, from September 1 to December 27, 1985. [12] The writing of all the songs except " Orion" and "The Thing That Should Not Be" was completed before the band's arrival in Copenhagen. [8] Rasmussen stated that the band brought well-prepared demos of the songs, and only slight changes were made to the compositions in the studio. [13] The recording took longer than the previous album because Metallica had developed a sense of perfectionism and had higher ambitions. [10]

Recommendations

Right now my votes goes to "Allied pressing" but if you find this pressing, get a copy soon. Is much cheaper than the "Allied" Pressing and you get the same sound quality. It's a bargain. Vertigo Europe 2001 Reissue: One of the most serious vinyl pressings of the album. You can get amazing power and quality here with minimun IGD in the last song of each side and without any surface noise. The instruments they sound very powerful and the music has big explosion. If you can, get this pressing because it's outstanding in my opinion. Very cheap at the momment and very balance sound. The cut on this vinyl was amazing. Master of Puppets (CD liner notes).
