About this deal

With four balanced armature drivers for the mid-range alone it is not of a coincidence that this part of the region has the higher quality characteristics. Even with same model number, Bellsing has constantly reengineering the driver, the old 30095 and current issue of 30095 has very different properties. Old ZS5 and New ZS5 has very different timbre not only FR differences for 30095. firejohn Wanted to upgrade from Z690 DDR4 to Z790 DDR5. Having a 5.0 NVMe slot is a bit meh. Here the example with the MSI Tomahawks. ( 9) Cadenza offers an interesting amount of subbass and bass, closely following the Harman target curve (although with a slightly increased bass), which may leave bassheads wanting more. Soundstage is not spectacular but manages to sound fairly “open” without being congested. Imaging is good, falling slightly short of class leaders like the Blessing2 or Oxygen. Separation is also good and comparable to the best performers in this range.

Sorry, I do not follow cult practices, including burning rituals and unsupported claims on "that special cables" and ridiculious (at least as far the science is concerned) "cable gains". So in the end, the bass and treble performance are superior on the Performer5 and that alone should make the decision easier for many. However, those who need a more relaxing presentation with a better sense of atmosphere (due to superior staging and imaging) might find the Orchestra Lite more appealing. Just keep in mind that they would not excite you as much.Three-way passive crossover strategy to achieve intricate layering and reduce total harmonic distortion. The mids on the Mangird Top are slightly recessed, but they're still clear and present. Vocals sound natural and realistic, and instruments are well-defined. The male vocals sound a little thin when compared to Tin Hifi T2 which is a mid-forward iem. You can pretty much see the top of the BAs under the faceplate and you can see none of them are vented.

The treble is similar to my ears. I have read that some users find them slightly sibilant, but that's not the case for me, and both manage to avoid excessive brightness with a level of definition that I find appropriate for the price (and mainly because I consider these two IEMs more musical than analytical). There might be a small, but insignificant, difference at the upper end of the spectrum in my experience. Each unit produced by Kiwi Ears undergoes two separate rounds of quality control inspection by the engineer, complete with left and right channel frequency matching to ensure that your monitor will perform at its best for the entire duration of its lifetime. Each unit is handcrafted by our engineers who have taken their time and effort to bring you the best IEM that we have to offer, and as such, we too hope that you will come to cherish them. Every Kiwi Ears IEM is covered by a year of warranty to make sure that your monitor is ready to perform whenever you are. About Kiwi Ears The more I listened, the more I liked this set of IEMs. The box is a tight fit for the cable and IEMs. Where to Buy

Design

Both share the same sound signature, but the Krila is more technically competent. However, it is less warmer and suffers some metallic timbre, making things not smoother when compared to the Cadenza.

The build quality of the Orchestra Lite is outstanding, they have one of the most beautiful builds out there, with a super deep blue color for the shell, and a super smooth, transparent fill through which you can see all the BA drivers, sonic tubes and the crossover. The sonic tubes have some deep protection, but there’s no grille at the entrance, so make sure to clean those regularly if you want to have them in good condition for a long time. For the review you’re reading today, I’ve been using a complex setup of sources, to get the best idea of how KIWI Ears Orchestra Lite sounds like, including Hiby R6 III, Astell & Kern ACRO CA1000T, IKKO ITB03 Heimdallr, Shanling M3 Ultra, iBasso DC03PRO, HIFI Walker H2 Touch, Khadas Tea, Shanling UA5, and Mechen M30. The sound of Orchestra Lite be described as clean, detailed, deep, with a W shaped signature, where the bass is uplifted, the upper bass and lower midrange is not super uplifted, but the midrange is somewhat forward, then the upper midrange is not super metallic or shrill, or too forward, but there is a peak in the treble that gives cymbals and hi hats some extra energy to sound engaging and dynamic / punchy.

Mids, fortunately, fare much better. They sound good for the most part and avoid shout, even though at high volumes the shoutiness can creep through (as the bass does not have body and impact, upper mids become more prominent). String instruments have a slightly softer leading edge, which avoids some BA timbre at the cost of crispness. Driven by the pursuit of extraordinary audio reproduction, at Kiwi Ears, we create the perfect amalgam of technological innovations with refined tuning strategies. The Orchestra Lite maintains the same custom Kiwi Ears' 8-balanced armature driver configuration as its predecessor. These drivers consist of two ultra-tweeters for the treble, four midrange balanced armature drivers for the mids and two large subwoofer drivers for the lows. Dual Knowles BA drivers for lows + four custom Kiwi Ears BA drivers for mids + two custom Kiwi Ears BA drivers for highs
