One thing I will say, Landon… I actually hate him and I’m annoyed that the next book is about him when I really want it to be about Eva and Eli!!! The way these characters just bring out the best in each other and help each other battle their dem0ns and face them head-on...swooon 💗💗💗 The beginning of the book already took my breath away, I love books that start very well, that's a very positive point. I also like when the protagonists don't fall in love at first sight and I love to see their love being built, that's what happened with jeremy and celicyCes is just what Jer needs. It's not that he's cold and heartless, it's that his particular lifestyle demands him to be, he can't let his guard down, but boy does cecily make his walls come tumbling down. I'll confess that I didn't like seeing her in the beginning in love with Landon, because I knew it wasn't her, and at the end of the book I understood that she is a mechanism for her to forget something.

While I’m in love with Jeremy, I anticipated (and hoped) he’d be exactly how I thought he’d be. It’s Cecily that’s the real revelation. She’s not at all what she appears to be- in fact what many of friends assume her to be. Girl has buried parts of herself so deep, it’s going to take a true psycho to claw it out of her. I related so intensely to the vulnerable parts of this character- how she armors herself with intellect and stoicism, in caretaking for others. How she longs for something she fears she’ll never have. Her fears, her insecurities, her desperation for connection. Her heart just wants to be tethered, and it’s caused her to make mistakes and hide herself. She’s a devastatingly beautiful heroine. And I FLOVE Cecily's heart and soul so much- she’s so kind and good at her core. I loved finally meeting Maya, she has a nicole / silver vibe and I loved it, I already want her book. These are the upcoming books that Rina is working on in different stages of completion. Not all have complete titles or confirmed release dates. I love how rina makes the character start the devil and then he becomes the woman's dog, but not in an obvious and boring way My chest still hurts thinking about how he disappeared into the night without a word. Not even a note or a text.

I can’t help feeling that something went awry in the whole situation. Why would he have wiped me clean, massaged my sore pussy, and touched me so tenderly just so he’d nearly choke me to death after? Cons: Bks100+ pgs to long & inner dialogue can get repetitive. Some events that happened i other bk were mentioned but breezed over but never explained in a way to tied them up. If i read this as a standalone itd be a plot hole when it could of been handled in a 1 sentence line to fix it. What can I say about Jeremy, my god so hot, I feel a connection with him as I saw him born and also his journey in his parenting book so watching him grow up is amazing. I loved his dirty mouth and seeing how much he is his father's clone.
