Kid scared the hell out of the horses on delivery yesterday,” Bill continued. “ And he came this close to side-swiping Mulvaney’s new Arctic Cat last week. You know we’d never hear the end of that.”

as much as i wanna get into explaining the plot and the characters. i dont know how to do that. it’ll just put everyone off. no words can describe how complicated yet uncomplicated this book was. This have to do with the plane that came in late last night?” Bill asked, temporarily forgetting his problem with Mira’s kid’s accelerator hand. Lucy Score took this concept and gave us the ultimate look at how this feeling can tie up a man for years...how he had a love and need for a woman but always stopped himself from acting on his intense feelings. On the flip side, the woman causing all of this need and conflict always had feelings for this man but every time something might have finally happened between them...Walls were erected and hurt was inflicted.Want to see something that will cheer you up?” He pulled out his phone. “Unless it’s that pit bull in the bathtub wearing a shower cap, no.” I read Things We Never Got Over My first Lucy Score book) and now have a new favorite author. You’re just what I’ve been looking for in an author all my reading life – I’m 79 and love, love, love your writing style. I would have enjoyed it more if you had dropped fewer f-bombs, but I can’t tell you how happy I am to have received the book on book bub. Online it appears there is a second book in this series. When will it be available? Reply Why am I holding a box of stolen memorabilia formerly owned by my ex-boyfriend's boss in my arms? It's called . . . revenge.

Before I do that & say anything about this book, Forever Never, let me preface the following by saying I still view Lucy Score as a very talented writer and I still have every intention of reading more of her books. Until proven otherwise, I have a feeling there’s a good possibility Forever Never is just an anomaly. Maybe I’m wrong, but it feels like she was trying something here & it just didn’t work…at least for me. I’m most certainly not trying to dissuade anyone from the rest of her books. My previous LS reads were some of the better reads I’ve had this year. I’ve never seen someone do that much good by telling that many lies,” he told her when they were out of earshot. “I’ll take that as a compliment,” she said cheerfully,” The writing, the main characters, - terrible. Selfish. And the whole “oh Remi you are just the most special girl in the world” and the other female characters hated her for being so special and taking all their shine literally made me want to burn the book. Spare me that bs please. Two childhood friends. Two broken hearts. One impromptu road trip to get away from everything. That’s all this was supposed to be. Afterall, I’ve been living in the friend zone for years now. Pretend You’re Mine is narrated from the point of view of the two lead characters: Luke Garrison and Harper Wilde. It’s an addictive light read featuring a multitude of dialogues. The plot focuses on the romance of the protagonists, but when we are advanced in the story, you will get good surprises because several turns appear that will have you even more hooked. Regarding the characters, the protagonists are very well crafted, and in the end, we see a clear development. Additionally, the story would not be the same without the secondary characters that contribute many things to the novel and enable the readers to get a better understanding of the main characters.I’ll start with what I liked, for the most part I liked the FMC Remi, she’s unique, funny, and brash. I liked the setting, the cute little island town was quaint and the thriller/mystery was also very compelling. Can I move to Blue Moon? I love the Blue Moon series (come on, crazed goats, meddling neighbors, the amazing Pierce brothers!!) and Not Part of the Plan is a fantastic addition. I loved Niko and Emma, their story and their happily ever after. But even more, I love the story of this town, the interaction between family and friends (and the occasional farm animal!!). This is the fourth in the series and can be read alone but I recommendreading the others. They are very good! And I love how each book builds toward the next. I can't wait to see what happens next in Blue Moon! - J. Williams
