I like that you get to meet and understand who Tog is before actually understanding what is going on and how Tog hoped to be a christmas elf but he is an hundred and sixty year old (sixteen to humans) unemployed elf. The other thing that makes Ben’s new book exciting to read is that it’s a countdown to Christmas day, which he thinks will also encourage children to keep reading. This has been one of those moreish books...just one more chapter, no...one more...oh is that the whole book... However Tog getting fired turned into a positive as all the children that wanted a lemur had protested at christmas place, which lead to Steinar coming to Tog's House to tell Tog that Father Christmas wants to see Tog.

I like that chapter 49 is a high for Tog then chapter 50 says he is in police cell because his bag was full of lemurs that weren't his and could be charged with toy stealing.
