Always do a test area before starting any project to test adhesion and final finish. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the tin at all times. I bought 2 tins of white daisy, garden shades for my summer house. After applying it , when it started raining a day later it’s started going yellow. Not fit for purpose. I also used 2 tins of fresh rosemary which was fine. Must be a bad batch. There can’t be any quality control at Cuprinol. Have used this product before and have always found it to be an excellent product provided you follow the instructions. It is easy to apply, covers well, and gives long lasting protection.

After use, remove as much product as possible from brushes and rollers before cleaning with water. Store in dry conditions and protect from frost.

Stir thoroughly before use. Try a test area first to ensure that colour and adhesion are acceptable. Apply 2-3 coats evenly along the grain, avoiding overlaps. Allow 2-4 hours between coats under normal weather conditions. Drying time is 2-4 hours (showerproof in just 1 hour). Drying times can vary depending on the nature of the surface and the weather conditions.

Coverage can vary depending on application method and the condition and nature of the surface Ensure that surfaces to be treated are clean, dry and free from dust, dirt, loose debris and any other surface contaminants. I really wish they would get there colours right, I chose Natural Oak didn't look dark on tin but it's the colour of dark chocolate. Please get someone who knows the colours to put correct images on tins. Very frustrating.Do not apply in temperatures below 5 degrees C, in damp conditions or if rain is likely before the product has dried. Looking to add something new to the garden? I used this paint by years - always was happy - this year I bought 2 can garden shades in BQ and it peels off next day We'd recommend brushing over the surface with a stiff bristle brush to break down the waxes following a clean down to remove any residue. Once the waxes are broken down and removed a new coat can be applied.
