About this deal

I can understand why some people love this perfume. The right body chemistry seems to mute those screechy notes, warms the whole thing up and turns this fragrance into something beautiful. My body chemistry doesn’t seem to mesh with this at all. The scent does start off strong but once it dries down you're left with a much softer scent. Although it does fade a bit it does linger and last all day on me. Fragrances like 'Amazing Grace' are the perfect example as to why I really wish that Fragrantica had an option that allowed us to judge a scent as being 'meh'. A way of saying that we don't like nor dislike a fragrance. Because sometimes we can smell something and think, well it's not UNpleasant, but I can't say that I really like it. Inoffensive, clean, perfect for formal occasions. I like to use it when I'm sad to give me a sense of wellness. Still enjoy the bottle design and believe this is a safe blind buy. Quite a skin scent. This fragrance gives me similar vibes of Blanche (Byredo), I don't know if I could call it a dupe of its own but certainly lovers of the genre should consider it as an affordable option.

S8 PRESCRIPTION

Look, I don't want to toot my horn, but I could, slightly, maybe be classified as a perfume snob, ESPECIALLY anything with white florals. Transactions~ for that product in the previous two months did not occur at or above the supplier's recommended retail price, the RRP will be the price at or I did not like the ballet rose or nude rose versions as they are too floral and give me a headache. I did like the warm cashmere version of fresh cream but honestly I prefer the original. Blind bought this today and tested it.. It's very nice and airy, kind of reminds me of an angel on a cloud (the name probably gives that impression too) but so far I don't find it groundbreaking. I know a lot of people have said that Coty may have messed around with it so I'm conscious that the reformulation may be what's made it less appealing. Would be interested to see if I could find an original to compare them both. I do like it but not that amazed overall, I get the florals and I smell a little powder (which weirdly is not listed in the notes). I think it would have been my favourite scent if I'd got it in my younger days. A good day time scent anyway.

I really hate rose notes, so I was slightly nervous to try this, but I can't smell rose in this that much. I have both the toilette and the parfum of this fragrance (not that it's entirely important, but the two bottles look VERY different, even down to the color of the perfume). It's very powdery, feminine, sweet, and fresh. I never got to smell this before it was reformulated, but I love the current formula. I find it to be a great fragrance to wear whenever. When you first spray it and it's wet, the citrus really comes through. When it dries down, It's a very clean and fresh scent. It smells slightly like baby powder to me, but I LOVE the way baby powder smells. I can't stop smelling this when I have it on. Additionally, I was pregnant with my bubba (He's absolutely beautiful, thanks for asking!) last year/early this year, and the degree of powder in this scent made it intolerable to me while I was up the duff (I bought this perfume not long prior to getting pregnified). Unfortunately, I *know* this made me hesitant about cultivating a love for this fragrance. That old perfume-nausea association.

My significant other got me this, specifically the EDP, for Christmas last year. He said he’d asked a friend for input and the friend recommended it because *his* wife wears it and he and SO both liked it on her. I don’t think I’d noticed it on her, but I like her general style, so I was looking forward to trying it. Our award-winning fragrance is always appropriate, never overpowering. Embrace the soft iconic floral scent of our bestselling eau de toilette.

Hopefully Fragrantica might update the listings with the new bottles and specify more clearly which is the EDP and EDT... but in the meantime, I'm writing this review to clarify for myself. It's okay. Very understated, not really noticeable. Light florals with a touch of musk. This would be a safe gift since I can't imagine anyone hating it, but I don't think it's worth purchasing unless you're specifically looking for a low-sillage cheapie. It could be a good first perfume for a teenager who just wants something to wear. This was always my signature scent until a couple of years ago when I started to get into more niche fragrances and wanted to find something a little more sophisticated.Absolutely stunning. It feels... and smells like lemon souffle !! Very nice on the skin, and the scent lasts.
