About this deal

Do you want your horse to win, if not, what strategies do you put in place? Do you make your horse fall over or, was you not happy with how the race went and demanded a restart? Engaging, competitive and above all loads of fun, every family needs a few modern and traditional board games in the cupboard for a rainy day! Top Products in Modern Board & Traditional Games• Trivial Pursuit Lord of The Rings Edition Winning Moves 31462 Game LOTR Rating: Would I recommend The Really Nasty Horse Racing Game? Absolutely! It is a 5/5 from me, if I am really honest, if I had to score out of 10, it would be 10/10 Also, for a roll and move with I found this to be a million miles above what I consider to be a real 'stinker in silk', Magical Athelete). Okay that's not a horse racing game, so that's an unfair comparison, but they are both light race games with screw you aspects. The only other horse racing game I had was the small copy of Knizia's Royal Turf, which was fun but got old fast.

There are so many questions to think about when playing this game. You need to have a game plan, be devious, manipulative and sneaky, the more cunning you can be, the better the game. I like the action, and the player screwage, it makes every race important and the end of the game ensures that everyone is it until the end. I can never convince enough people to play the Grand National board game with me, however whenever I have played it; it’s always been a blast, with or without house rules (the forums on BGG are a great source of alternative playing styles). I’ve done Becher Chases and Foxhunters too! This game is more fun than Winner's Circle (by quite a bit) and even Long Shot (which I like...but takes too long). You can even buy a set that allows you to customise your Monopoly board to your own neighbourhood or your favourite TV show. Deluxe and LuxuryOf course, with some traditional games, it is the sheer simplicity that makes them work. For example Jenga, Connect 4 or dominoes don’t need a board and so can be played almost anywhere. You can even find giant versions of these games to play in your garden in the summer months.

There was 4 of us playing and took us around 90-120 minutes. Between wine and other alcohol breaks, it all added to the fun, devilish and devious plans. Conjure up your most devious plan as your main goal and objective is to win as much money as you can at the races and the good thing about this, there are a couple of ways to do this.

The Really Nasty Horse Racing Game has been around a while, having been on the market since 1987. It was one of the first board games I ever played, and nearly caused my uncle and aunt to divorce while arguing over the rules during one memorable Christmas. Please note that the standard UPS UK or Parcelforce 24 or 48 services do not deliver on a Saturday, Sunday or bank holidays.
