My main gripe is the 10% "discretionary service charge" added to the bill. I like to leave a cash tip on the table and adding it to the bill is putting the customer in a half nelson and challenging them to have it removed. I know they would have removed it if asked but who wants to show themselves up at the table for that? Anyway, their loss as the tip on the bill was less than I would have left on the table but I truly object to this form of compulsory discretionary service charge and that's what has really driven this review today.
