About this deal

I found this book ok the build up to the story I found boring but the rest was really good. This book is about a boy Albie Bright and his mum died of cancer and he uses quantum physics to find his mum he finds hi mum in a parrelel universes but went on a long journey to find her.He founds a girl version of himself and an evil twin definitely reccomend it. Fun science meets humor and heart in this adventure about a boy who is searching for his mother . . . in a parallel universe. Review based on an ARC provided by Netgalley. Thank you to the publisher for giving me this opportunity.

I'd love this book in all the worlds. Heartbreaking, heartwarming, heartstopping. Amazing. Armistice Day: A Collection of Remembrance - Spark Interest and Educate Children about Historical Moments Straight of the cover pulled me in and after hearing some great things I added it to my list. My very long list. Fast forward to this Summer and I finally reserved it in the library and read it. And people, you NEED to read this book. It is gorgeous.Het verhaal nam me helemaal mee in de verwerking van het verlies van de mama van Stein. Ik las zo snel als ik een kinderboek lezen kon... en heb er op het einde zelfs een traan bij gelaten. A poignant, funny, and heartwarming adventure, this extraordinary novel is for anyone who has ever been curious.

I am enjoying this book because it is very facinating how they talk about paralelle universes because maybe some people has never talked about this stuff and might learn something new in this book. It is funny, sad, interesting and science related so it doesn't just has one genre, it has a different genre that everyone can enjoy. I would definately recommend this book to a person who loves science. This middle grade drama is a fun exploration of one aspect of quantum physics, and doesn't dwell too heavily on the trauma of losing a parent. Considering the topics covered, it's a light read that even reluctant readers might be tempted to try. A bit funny, a bit sad and a bit mad. Aimed squarely at the pre-teen/YA demographic, ‘Many Worlds’ mixes science fact (all of which apparently accurate) with science fiction and fantasy with lots of fun. This is a great book for the open minded and imaginative reader of any age – with an interest science in general and quantum physics in particular. The Many Worlds of Albie Bright is a sci-fi middle grade that focuses on Albie Bright. Both his parents are scientists so of course he is named after a familiar scientist, Albert Einstein. Growing up with science he is used to questioning the world around him. When his mother dies of cancer it is only natural for him to question where she went. The mutterings of his father about parallel universes leads to a very unique experiment that includes a rotten banana, his mom’s computer, a box and the neighbor’s cat. What follows is a touching story of Albie coming to accept his new position, while we watch an increasingly bizarre set of alternate circumstances that Albie finds himself in. I was emotionally invested in this very short read, while being highly amused by some of the events and a little bemused by the science stuff.Edge offers an artful, touching exploration of grief. Albie’s first person narrative, inflected with references to science and classic sci-fi, will be especially appealing to middle-grade fans of the genre. The many worlds of Albie bright is a hooking story. The book has an emotional story that can really hook anyone in. The main reason I enjoy this book so much is because everyone is really well developed and the mothers passing was unexpected so over all this book is a really detailed and I would recommend this book to everyone.Of course, when you’re universe-hopping for the very first time, it’s difficult to find the one you want. As Albie searches, he discovers some pretty big surprises about himself and our universe(s), and stumbles upon the answers to life’s most challenging questions.

I loved this book because it is all about science. This is a fiction book. Albie's mum has passed away and he is desperate to find her in another universe. As he travels through different universes, he finds himself as a bully and also as a girl. I would recommend this book to someone else for sure. Aunque sentí que es un libro más enfocado para niños y adolescentes, es una historia hermosa, que te mantiene con un nudo en la garganta , en suspenso y con el corazón apachurrado y conmovido Christopher Edge is an writer, freelance publisher and education consultant as well as an accomplished author of children's books. But then Albie’s mother dies of cancer, and his world is shattered. When his father explains that she might be alive in a parallel universe, Albie knows he has to find her. So, armed with a box, a laptop, and a banana, Albie sets out to do just that. Pirmas sakinys: Tai mano tėtis pakišo mintį pasinaudoti kvantine fizika tam, kad rasčiau savo mamą.I thought this book was amazing, one of the best I've ever read. It was quite sad in places but also had lots of funny parts and overall was quite light-hearted. I loved all the science about Quantum physics and thought it was really interesting how there could be parallel universes where you live a different life in each. I would definitely recommend this book and I really enjoyed reading it. Talked about the Dutch edition, the translation is done really well, with extra attention to the correct choice of words. So, you don’t have to worry about the quality of the translation.
