About this deal

The top floor is furnished with bookshelves, a stool and an easel. All the necessary details have been included in this area, even a pot for washing out the paint brush included. I suspect children (and adults) will enjoy setting scenes with the minifigures as I certainly have! The two biggest contributers to the discolouring of the plastic of Lego toys are long term exposure to sunlight and cigarette smoke. Try to minimise these when storing your Playmobil. The four ninja used Airjitzu to ascend the tallest tower in Cloud Kingdom to retrieve the Sword of Sanctuary. Morro then used Airjitzu to escape from the ninja who also used Airjitzu to pursue. Unusually, the smallest models in the set are kept for the final part of the build. The bridge is elegantly curved using flexible tubing and the addition of four Technic bush elements provides some nice texture to the sides. Putting the bridge in place nicely links the buildings together to complete the set and gives the model greater depth for display.

Chima · Cloud Kingdom · Cursed Realm · Departed Realm · Djinjago · Imperium · Kingdom of Madness · Never-Realm · Ninjago · Realm of Lee · Realm of Oni and Dragons · Underworld · Wyldness This comes with 6 minifigures with assorted weapons. It measures over 12” long, and includes Kai’s motorbike as well as Nya’s detachable flyer! With just 756 pieces, it’s easy for kids to build. Milton Dyer appears to have heard of it when he was programming Prime Empire, which explains why it was in the game. After Jay made his final wish, the temple was rebuilt and returned to its decrepit state prior to Nadakhan's cleaning. However, as a result of the imperfect time-reversal performed by the Djinn, an anomaly left the temple floating in the skies near Stiix. Temples, palaces, fortresses and monasteries: Anacondrai Temple · Castle of Ice · Chen's monastery · Chen's Palace · Fire Temple · Garmadon's Dark Fortress · Garmadon's monastery · Hanging Temple · Ice Temple · Lloyd's treehouse fortress · Merlopian Palace · Monastery of Imperium · Monastery of Spinjitzu · Mountain monastery · Ninja Dojo Temple · Oni Temple · Palace (Shintaro) · Pyramid (Desert of Doom) · Pyramid of the Sphinx · Royal Palace · Skull Keep · Serpentine Pyramid · Serpentine's underground fortress · Temple of Airjitzu · Temple of Felis · Temple of Fortitude · Temple of Light · Temple of Madness · Temple of Resurrection · Temple of Wojira The final minifigure is the Postman. He is constantly caught up in the ninjas’ shenanigans so his inclusion here is a perfect opportunity to create some more perilous situations for him to fall into! His head and torso feature new designs so it’s a shame that he has no alternate expression to convey terror, which would have suited the character perfectly. Otherwise this is an excellent representation of the Postman and an appealing minifigure with his impressive purple uniform. The Completed Model

Tommy Andreasen originally kept pitching the name, but no one else liked it, so the Hageman Brothers added it as a running joke. [6] The ninja all have their own unique Airjitzu colors, other than Jay and Nya, who both share the exact same color for Airjitzu. In " Day of the Departed", Cryptor claims to have learned Airjitzu from Zane's programming and seemingly uses it to fly to the tree branch Zane was on. https://web.archive.org/web/20160910220632/http://www.lego.com/en-us/ninjago/accessories/locations/temple-of-airjitzu-season-5-1b1dd96055444949a6ed6e73ef684cd3

The "asian ornamental spire" as you call it is actually called a "kurin", and is much more functional than decorative, serving to balance the building. This one is actually comparatively modest (and inaccurately designed), they were pretty large way before sci-fi was ever a thing. Here are some images for comparison. Those exclusive materials consist of an interview with the designer, character details and information about the expansive world of Ninjago. A few paragraphs of text are included recounting the story of the temple so far and additional appearances in future series are hinted at, so we will have to wait and see whether it pops up again. I was somewhat dubious about the inclusion of any ‘exclusive material’ but I really enjoyed reading about the design process and seeing some of the sketches done during the set’s creation. In the temple, the ninja try to find out who the Vermillion Samurai was by examining the helmet it left behind. They went to see Wu ask for answers, but he was too tired to answer. There’s so much I love about this set and I am actually considering buying this from LEGO as soon as its released. I’m a huge fan of Japanese culture and history and I feel that this set does a fantastic job capturing the distinct look of Japanese architecture. When the Ninja sought to enter the temple and claim the Scroll of Airjitzu, antics ensued as Yang tormented them. Despite gaining the scroll, the Ninja dropped it on their way out, prompting Cole to retrieve it. Incidentally, he failed to escape the temple before sunrise, and was transformed into a ghost. Several months later, when Nadakhan was recreating his home realm, he lifted Yang's temple into the sky. Yang confronted Nadakhan, who had the temple cleansed with water - forcing Yang and his students to leave. The temple was destroyed when Misfortune's Keep crashed into it, but after Jay made his final wish, recent events were undone and the temple was left unscathed. However, as a result of an anomaly in Nadakhan's time reversal, it was left floating in the sky.You could remove the Ninjago minifigs and this set would still be able to stand on its own two feet. That, I believe is a hallmark of any great set. Thank you for this splendid review, I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. As others have also commented, this is a beautiful set, which I already added to my wish-list when I first heard about it. This set is flawless. Modular building-level flawless, and not priced too high like some of the larger Star Wars sets (cough Ewok Village cough).

The set’s release date is 18 August 2015 for LEGO VIP members, and 1 September 2015 for a general release. There is no Australian price yet, but watch this space when the price becomes available.I absolutely love that LEGO designed this set. Let’s not kid anyone, this is aimed squarely at Adult LEGO fans, although Ninjago fans are probably as excited as well.
