I was hoping this would be about the supposed 2021 mini-led refresh for the G9, since the original model covered here is a year old by now. It could fix my main gripe with the G9 which is the awfully subpar 10-zone local dimming. is really curved. But the G9 is so wide that image distortion isn’t a problem. When working, documents are at or near the screen’s center. It might be a new Hardware variant since the product codes now end with „SSR“. So far it has always been „SSU“. The only difference I was able to see in the data sheet is, that the SSR has a power consumption of 55 W. For SSU the spec sheet lists 108 W. Does anyone maybe have more info on that?
