HEIW are a Special Health Authority within NHS Wales formed on 1.10.2018 and have a leading role in education, training and development to support high-quality care for the people of Wales. The Hicom agreement transferred to their ownership in 2018/2019. The placement of this single source contract to Hicom to extend IT solution support allows HEIW the opportunity to continue with critical service whilst undertaking a review and developing long term requirements to support education, progression and training of the trainee workforce for the future.
