About this deal

The phrase “I am that I am” carries a deep spiritual meaning that, when understood, can serve as a powerful tool for personal growth. In the great mirror of consciousness, images arise and disappear and only memory gives them continuity. And memory is material - destructible, perishable, transient. On such flimsy foundations we build a sense of personal existence - vague, intermittent, dreamlike. This vague persuasion, “I am so-and-so,” obscures the changeless state of pure awareness and makes us believe that we are born to suffer and to die.”

All the conversations were recorded at Nisargadatta's small tenement and later transcribed and translated by Frydman while the master was still unknown to the Western public. A Marathi version of the talks, verified by Nisargadatta, was published separately. [21]Earlier Jehovah’s love is even clearer as the first possible reference of the gospel is declared: “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; he shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel” (Gen. 3:15). Here God reveals several significant truths. The woman’s seed (Messiah) will deliver a deathblow to the serpent’s head; but all the serpent will do is bruise, or crush, Messiah’s heel. A head blow to a serpent is fatal. Not so with a blow to the heel. There are many so hum meditation benefits. In a single session, practicing this mantra can cause you to feel centered and in touch with the world around you. It can be used to clear negative health problems, or to help you to focus on your aims and make important decisions. Stephen H. Wolinsky (2000). I Am That I Am: A Tribute to Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj. Quantum Inst. ISBN 0967036259. Nathan Stone, in his book on the names of God, quoted an unnamed commentator who stressed key aspects of God’s personality as revealed in His name:

I am with Ahmad getting some vegetables and a torch, when I see one of my best friends, walking in the street. He was the one who asked me to help him find a new place to stay since his aunt’s house is hosting more than 70 people and there is no more space for anyone or anything. When recognizing the similarities between people, connections become richer than before, thus contributing positive energy into the world rather than negative vibes causing unnecessary conflicts and tearing societies apart! Embrace Nature’s Wisdom There is a vastness beyond the farthest reaches of the mind. That vastness is my home; that vastness is myself. And that vastness is also love.” According to Nisargadatta, "Maurice (Frydman) told me, 'Everything that is said here is immediately lost, though it could be of a great benefit for those looking for truth. I would like to translate and publish your words so others might know them. And so, he wrote I Am That". [22]God Hates Sin. A second characteristic is His hatred of sin. When someone sins, that sin ultimately reaches Jehovah’s throne because we were made by Him and for Him. Therefore, we are answerable to Him (1 Pet. 4:5). Thus He has the right to judge sin and punish sinners. Our sinfulness affronts His holiness: “The soul that sinneth, it shall die” (Ezek. 18:20). Likewise, the final stanza of the poem “Invictus” by William Ernest Henley expresses much the same sentiment: The phrase is originally found in the Upanishads, such as Verse 16 of the Isha Upanishad, which reads: St. Augustine of Hippo and St. Thomas Aquinas, Doctors of the Church, identified the Being of Exodus 3:14 with the Esse ipsum subsistens, who is God Himself, and, in metaphysics, the Being in the strong or intensive sense in whom one has all the determinations of every being in their highest degree of perfection. Therefore, this Being is actuality of every actuality (or pure Act) and perfection of all perfections. In Him, solely essence and existence (in Latin: Actus essendi) are identified. While St. Augustine had a general intuition of Him, His philosophical formulation came only with St. Thomas. [16] [17] Other views [ edit ]
