About this deal

Bear in the Big Blue House: Live on Stage • Playhouse Disney - Live on Stage! • Disney Stars and Motorcars Parade So yeah. Polar bears have a reputation for being extremely curious, aggressive, and nasty. This is why individuals and cultures that live in the Arctic have an incredibly healthy respect for them and are wary of any that appear.

According to a Defunctland interview with Noel MacNeal, this was supposed to be the final episode of Bear in the Big Blue House, as they did not yet know if the show was going to be renewed for another season. As a result, the crew decided to go out with a bang and have the "Goodbye Song" sung by the entire cast (up to that point). Bear is getting ready for bed but before she settles down to sleep, she insists on saying goodnight to all her animal friends in this fun and interactive bedtime book.

Note: All singers in "And to All a Good Night" are labeled based on which group they were in when singing the "tomorrow/today" part. The Big Blue House • Doc Hogg's Office • Mouse School • Otter Pond • Sequoia City • Woodland Valley • Woodland Valley Cinema • Woodland Valley General Store • Woodland Valley Library • Woodland Valley Mall • Woodland Valley Post Office In this episode, viewers get to see a lot of characters who are normally only seen at the end of other episodes. Luna also gets to perform in a song other than the "Goodbye Song". Additionally, Ray is seen at the very beginning of the episode.

The Bear in the Big Blue House "Goodbye Song" was the inspiration of the Out of the Box " Goodbye Song". Polar bears are very big, very aggressive, and are used to being apex predator. Even when people are around. They have no fear of humans and that makes them doubly dangerous. They have an all-meat diet so they’re also much more likely than even the often feared grizzly bear who is more than happy to often claim a few overflowing berry bushes as their own. The same probably applies to the terrifying polar-grizzly bear hybrid. Yes, that is actually a thing now thanks to climate change. Be Prepared with Bear Spray Season Three: " Friends at Play" • " Nothing to Fear" • " Lost and Found" • " The Senseless Detectives" • " Halloween Bear" • " You Never Know" • " It's All About You" • " Woodland House Wonderful" • " I've Got Your Number" • " What's Mine is Yours" • " Bear's Secret Cave" • " Smellorama" • " I For-Got Rhythm?!?" • " Wait for Me" • " Morning Glory" • " That Healing Feeling" • " The Tutter Family Reunion" • " Bats are People Too" • " Words, Words, Words" • " Let's Get Interactive" • " The Yard Sale" • " The Best Thanksgiving Ever" • " Read My Book" • " Go to Sleep" • " A Berry Bear Christmas"

This episode includes a brief segment (introduced by Luna) in which real kids talk about what can they do at night. These include staying up, playing on a swing set, catching lightning bugs, football, looking at the stars and moon, eating, brushing their teeth, putting on pajamas, reading a story, and going to bed. At the same time, the 130 words of text are carefully worked, holding, like the modernists Brown admired, echoes (to nursery stories, for instance, in their resolved states – bears sitting on chairs, kittens reunited with mittens) and subtle subversions, while the rhyming pattern plays with contrasting effects of full and part-rhymes, certainty and unpredictability. It's a special night in Woodland Valley; tonight is the night of Harvest Moon. There's a special party out at the Otter Pond and Luna even has a special surprise for Bear. Bear and his friends enjoy the delights of the night, such as fireflies and constellations. Tutter does his best to stay up, but Bear allows him to catch a little sleep before the big celebration. Bear searches for party lanterns for the celebration, but it's ultimately Pip and Pop who find them. Everything is finally ready for the big party and it's drawn quite a crowd; besides Bear and the kids, Doc Hogg, Lois, Otto, and Etta, Grandma Flutter, Christine and even the big old bullfrog are there. In fact, everyone's there except Luna; they're worried she may have disappeared behind a cloud. But it turns out she was just getting her special surprise ready; an old friend Bear hasn't seen in a long time! In the Shadow segment, Shadow tells a wild story about a man who takes a trip to the moon in a balloon. Take all the proper steps while in bear country to make sure it doesn’t come to that and you will be much happier overall.
