About this deal

When we talk about audio quality formats like 24-bit/96 kHz, we are referring to two important aspects of digital audio: bit depth and sample rate. It offers multiple inputs, including PC-USB, coaxial, and optical, making it versatile and compatible with various devices. This DAC amp supports audio quality of up to 32-Bit / 768 kHz, ensuring high precision and accuracy in sound reproduction. Yes - they are very capable of reproducing the low end in ways most headphones just can't. To be more specific, they have pretty good low end *range* - as in you can really hear the sub bass. But, there is a slight problem with their bass response at specifically around 210 Hz. I researched the product a lot to make the right decision and decided to buy it. I'm extremely happy now.

As goes the headphones, I rate them five stars in every respect taking into account their budget price. I also own Amiron Homes, which certainly sound a little better but which don’t quite fit my head as perfectly as the 770s, and I have a pair of 880 250ohms which I think have a significantly different sound signature from the 770s (very precise but understated bass and a gauzy, delicate treble). I am not a fan of closed headphones per se, but sometimes it is the only politic choice when wearing them around the house, and the 770s are the only such headphones I have so far found that I really enjoy the sound of and find comfortable when wearing for long periods. I find that the 80 ohm 770s work well on any device and yet they still benefit from dedicated amplification (which in my case comes in the form of a couple of Little Dot Mk 2 head amps in a couple of different systems. For my 250 ohm headphones these Little Dots are essential). Personally, I think the sound signature of the 880s is so different from the Amirons and the 770s that I would hesitate to compare them. However, I am sure that some people would identify some traits in the sound of the 770s and 880s as being similar and that the Amirons are the more different headphone of the three, but I am describing my subjective experience here and am not trying to be objective. By any measure, the 770 Pro 80s are very comfortable, good sounding headphones that represent very decent value for money. INTERFACE: Focusrite Scarlett Solo AMPLIFIER: SMSL SP200 THX AAA-888, XDUOO XD-05 Basic DAC: SMSL Sanskrit 10th MKII (upgraded AK4493 Version)High impedance headphones benefit from a DAC amp as they require more power to achieve their full potential. Low sensitivity headphones may also require a DAC amp to drive them to the same sound pressure level as higher sensitivity headphones. Additionally, headphones with a wider frequency response may benefit more from a DAC amp than those with a limited frequency range. An extended frequency range (5Hz - 35kHz) lets you to hear every subtle nuance from your source audio, even at loud volumes. The high sound pressure level capabilities allow you to turn up to maximum volume without degrading the audio quality. That means high-performance audio in the most demanding situations. With support for audio quality up to 32-Bit / 384 kHz, this amp can produce high-fidelity sound with outstanding clarity.

The comfort deserves more than 5 stars - those bunny rabbits on your ears are just amazing. Just as a testament to how amazed and awesome these headphones are, I have received my brand new guitar in the same shipment as these headphones. After putting on these headphones I simply sat there and listened to music, that is how amazing they are. The Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro headphones have a very distinct appearance. Its headbands are of basic steel with aluminum forks and a strong plastic cup. The earpads are easily removable hence replaceable as well. The low mass coil and diaphragm assembly produce a transient performance equalled only by electrostatic earphones, and, in combination with a carefully tailored frequency response, offer a natural and balanced sound. I would prefer not having to immediately buy an amp. If I did get the 80 ohm, I would get an amp down the line but not immediately because I could save more money for a good one. Really it's up to audio right now for me. It would be mostly for gaming and if the audio really isn't different for gaming, that makes me lean to getting 80 ohm. We highly recommend this DAC amp for its exceptional performance, versatility, and flexibility. This DAC is relatively more expensive than entry-level DACs, which may be a downside for some budget-minded audiophiles. Thanks to the Tesla technologytechnology developed in Heilbronn, the DT 1770 PRO offers even finer resolution with precise and powerful bass. The PRO flagship also sets new standards in terms of wearing comfort and workmanship.
