Just like the first book, Dork Diaries: Tales from a Not-So-Popular Party Girl was comedic, adorable and quite relatable! I was relieved to find that this book explored different aspects of Nikki's life that we hadn't seen before rather than bringing us through situations that would make it a slightly tweaked version of the first book. I adored how everything in the book led up to the dance with Nikki being put in some pretty awkward yet hilarious situations. But the most important thing to remember is this: Always remain CALM and try to handle your personal problems in a PRIVATE and MATURE manner.I had originally planned to use it to buy a cell phone. But I decided it would be more prudent to save it for art camp next summer. I am not telling that the Dork Diaries are bad because they aren't bad (they are actually pretty good) HOWEVER is a lot distinct from the Wimpy Kid books.
