It may cause headache, stomach upset and diarrhoea. This medicine is not known to significantly affect other medicines. Terpenes such as Borneol are substantially metabolised in man and animals to their glucuronides which are eliminated in the urine. 5.3 Preclinical safety data Rowachol capsules also reduce the production of cholesterol by the liver.
