Charging mode gives a strong charge until the battery reaches 85% and then reduces the current until fully charged Bulk Fast Charge means that the Optimiser charges at a fast rate to bring the battery to approximately 85%capacity Is this charge suitable for Lithium Batteries. I have read some manufacturer statements saying as long as they are not left on for long periods and the chargers don't charge at 15+ volts they should befine? However, they require very different charging characteristics, and as such, you should be careful not to pair the wrong charger with the battery, as this can have a negative effect on the battery and can even be dangerous.
Someone suggested a battery 'charger' has better capacity to charge a flatted battery than an optimiser but there is the usual conjecture with all of this. Someone sez....

The suggestion was to deep discharge the fooked unit by attaching a car headlamp to it and let it run down. And this one from CTEK is superbly clever. Not only does it do everything you'd expect: charging, recovering, conditioning and maintaining whatever vehicle battery you connect it to (and yes, it does them all, from Lead Acid to Lithium-ion in all wet, AGM, Gel and other forms) – it does it without any programming from you.
The OXIMISER 601 is a modern charger designed to charge, optimise and prolong the life of a 12V ...
There are several chargers from CTEK in this list, and this CS ONE option is the top dog of the range. It's a smart charger that can repair, maintain, charge and detect bad cells, as well as a host of other features.
Permanent connector cable for all Oxford battery chargers. Ideal for use if you want to leave a cable ... As above having issues with an Oxford charger. The battery in the zx10r hasn't been used in maybe 6 weeks, so it was too low to start the bike. Multimeter still said 11v left in it.
Answer Yes, there is a simple test that can be carried out should one grip fail to heat. Firstly, take the connector from the working grip and swap on to the grip that is not heating. Should the grip now heat up, this will tell you that the fault lies with the connection to the grip rather than the grip itself.
