About this deal

So i have a Flysky FS-GT3C transmitter, and ive been having range issues for a while. i'll try and keep this consise:

Setting up the ESC - this is intriguing. Flysky has announced 2 brushed ESC/receiver combos, presumably for crawlers. Although you can't see until connected, I suspect you can either adjust ESC parameters from the remote and or received telemetry data. I might have to get on to find out! I really enjoy using this controller, for me I've been running it in my budget brushless 124018. The controller has a good weight to it and although it is clearly made of plastic it has a better presence and weight to it than the Flysky-FS-GT5 (which I really rate). I also prefer it to the Radiolink RC6GS V3 I recently reviewed and of course the DumboRC X6 doesn't really compete. I would prefer a sponge covered wheel but this will be easy to change - hopefully Flysky offers a budget option here but the plastic wheel is ok for now. while maintaining lower power consumption and high reliable receiver sensitivity, FLYSKY's AFHDS technology With incorporated gyroscopes in the FSBS line of receivers you can utilize the built in SVC feature in the GT5. SVC is FlySky’s version of traction control. When properly configured the SVC function will keep your vehicle going in your desired direction by slightly altering the throttle and the steering. Personally I'd get the Flysky GT5 or Radiolink if I was after a new basher radio. I think the GT5 looks nicer. Then bought another RC car, and since i figured i would sell the previous one on, i moved the Rx to the new car. First run out with the new car, crappy range again. System Interface ............................................................................................................... 9 To ensure the gyroscope works as expected install the receiver horizontally at less that 10 degrees There's also a clever setting on the GT5 for Priority. This determines how much the wheel input will override the gyro. I think if you have 100% priority the wheel will override the gyro and on 0% the gyro will override the wheel; anything in between and it will mix the values. I can't say for sure tho as I couldn't really tell that this setting was doing anything at all.

This binding information only applies to the FS—GTS and the FS—BSG receiver, different receivers may require If the control surfaces are not moved to their maximum positions the wheel and trigger may not work One of the stand out features of the GT5 is its ergonomic design. It is comfortable to hold and has a large, easy to read LCD display that shows you all the important information you need to control your vehicle. The buttons and controls are also well-positioned, making it easy to navigate the menus and make adjustments on the fly. In terms of functionality, The FlySky GT5 is a powerhouse. It offers a range of programmable functions, including servo reversing, endpoint adjustments, and dual rate settings. This allows you to fine tune your vehicle's performance to your exact specifications. The GT5 also supports telemetry, which means that you can monitor important data such as battery voltage and temperature in real-time.

This has caused me enough trouble now, so i'm looking to move on to something else. i know plenty have had no issues with the flysky, but i'm not doing anything out of the ordinary here. Futaba 4PM, Spektrum DX5 or Sanwa MT44 are the cheapest "proper" radios from the known brands. I have a 4PM and rate it, the MT44 was also nice when I tried one.
