Apply directly with the applicator or dispense a moderate amount of lip essence on the fingertips and apply on the lips. Spread evenly on the lips and can be used as lip mask. This is a 100% vegan formula with Olea Europaea (Olive) fruit oil as the antioxidant, 5 different types of ceramides (helps hold skin cells firmly together in the uppermost skin layer; protects your skin from allergens and external aggressors), and panthenol to help soothe your skin. There is petrolatum in it (aka. petroleum jelly), which does contribute to the familiar oily jelly feeling to the lip balm. This is a definite upgrade to Vaseline though as it stays on the lips a lot longer and has a longer-lasting hydration effect.This works very well for chapped lip in the desert! I layer with Laneige before bed for very soft lips in the morning!
