About this deal

Paola is her usual "know it all" critique expert on the subject of gays and also makes a tuna sauce that sounds intriguing. At first, the body is thought to be of a male transvestite prostitute but when it’s identified as a married man and the director of the Bank of Verona, it seems that there is something more than just a prostituted murdered by a client. I find the Brunetti family really interesting and fascinating. Their interaction is beautifully done and I particularly enjoy the chemistry between Guido and Paola…. I really like the characters of Brunetti and his family. This is the third book in the series and the third one I have read and I find my affection for the characters growing with each installment.

Enrico, a Venetian musician and composer, is seen, as the story begins, awaiting for Valeria, his estranged wife at the railway station. He buys red roses to greet her with, but thinks twice about them and throws them away before her train arrives. When they meet, Valeria asks him why has he summoned her to Venice, a city where they met, were happy, got married, had a son, and was the scene of their acrimonious split. He advises her that in due time he will tell her.

Anonimo Veneziano (English: The Anonymous Venetian) is a 1970 Italian drama film written and directed by the famous Italian actor Enrico Maria Salerno in his debut as a film director. [1] It starred American actor Tony Musante and Brazilian actress Florinda Bolkan. I have never seen any of these actors before nor ever heard of the director. It's one of those unique masterpieces that appear suddenly in a flash of dazzling brightness - to never be repeated. One of those films which it almost hurts to see again, and still you can't see it many times enough. Already the second time you start crying from the beginning.

Brunetti, of course, will not be bought. He is an upright and honorable man who loves his wife and children and goes home at night to eat peaches and read from Tacitus' Annals of Imperial Rome. While his wife is gone, he cooks wonderful, healthy meals for himself and cleans up after himself. What a man! It's a wandering through Venizia , Enrico taking his ex-wife to places when they were deeply in love ;and however ,he was not a faithful husband ,it's really a warts-and-all depiction(Enrico throws away the bouquet) inside a romantic journey through the past. It's like a short story by Chekhov comprising a universe of feelings and drama in a moment's brief revelation of the worst problems and complexities of human existence.

News

As this book opens, Brunetti is looking forward to escaping the steamy summer of Venice with his family; his plans are put on hold when the body of a badly beaten man is discovered in an industrial wasteland, frequented by prostitutes and their clients.
