This is the last book and it makes me kind of sad but at the same time I really want to know how it ends. (This better be a happy ending though, because I really need one right now!!! XD) I’ve been blessed to join this fandom due to the INCREDIBLE and significant amounts of fan art. It helps me survive.

He is a prankster and schemer. He has a rivalry with Katie.Prometheus - Titan of Forethought. Part of the diplomatic delegation to Percy and the demigods. Surrendered after Kronos lost. Percy is awakened by Thalia, who tells him that a Titan, Prometheus, has come to negotiate. Percy, Grover, and Thalia go to Central Park where the Titan stands with Ethan Nakamura, an empousa, and a clumsy Hyperborean Giant. The Titan states that Olympus is destined to fall, and that the demigods should surrender. When Percy refuses, Prometheus shows him more of Luke's past. In the vision, Percy sees Luke and Hermes arguing. Percy is moved by what he saw, but remains adamant. Prometheus then gives him Pandora's box, a pithos containing the Elpis, the Spirit of Hope. Prometheus tells Percy that if and when they decide to surrender, he only needs to release Hope, and the Titan would know.

Janus - Roman God of doorways, beginnings, and endings. He bothered Annabeth in the Labyrinth. He is a Roman god. Will Solace - Will is a son of Apollo and current head counselor of Apollo’s cabin. He is a healer and healed Annabeth during the Battle. Luke Castellan used Annabeth's knife to kill himself to stop Kronos. This was only possible because Percy trusted Luke with Annabeth's knife. This is the same knife that he gave her when she was little. He promised that they would be there for her and that they (including Thalia) would be a family. Luke broke his promise so the blade became cursed. Nereus - The old man of the sea, who lives on a pier in San Francisco. He is very moody and refused to give Percy’s advice. He has assured fans that a repeat of the 2010 and 2013 movies will not be the case for the new Disney+ show which will premiere in December 2023. Riordan says that the show will finally deliver a faithful adaptation and that it is the depiction of Percy on screen that everyone has been waiting for.

The Percabeth moments in this one are just perfect. Emphasis on the unforgettable underwater kiss. We all need a Percy in our lives let's just admit it. The fact they both gave up immortality for each other just gives me butterflies. Also, turns out there's a lot of foreshadowing in this one and it absolutely took me by surprise. Now, I know you're thinking, Wow, that was really irresponsible of him, blah, blah, blah, but Paul knows me pretty well. He's seen me slice up demons and leap out of exploding school buildings, so he probably figured taking a car a few hundred yards wasn't exactly the most dangerous thing I'd ever done.

The night following the meeting, Percy dreams of Rachel. In his dream, Rachel looks over two photos she has recently drawn. The first is a picture of Luke when he was younger, and the second is a picture of Olympus surrounded by lightning and figures wielding weapons. Daedalus - Daedalus is the son of Athena and creator of the Labyrinth. Daedalus was imprisoned by Minos for helping Theseus, and tried to murder his nephew, Perdix. Daedalus figured out how to live forever by using automations. Daedalus later disguised himself as a man named Quintus, the new swordsman trainer at Camp. He later sacrificed himself to save the campers and destroyed the Labyrinth.

This ended just right, beautifully in its way, although it was not a happy ending for everyone. Such an amazing conclusion to one of my most beloved series. And a universe I definitely plan to revisit soon, with Heroes of Olympus, and any of the other many series of the author. Bye all my dearest Heroes! And Percabeth Forever <3! Ophiotaurus - The Ophiotaurus is a half cow, half serpent creature who sided with the Titans in the first war. Grover later took him to Olympus to prevent him from killing the gods. He lives in an aquarium on Olympus. Thalia Grace and the Hunters of Artemis join the Battle of Manhattan in the middle of the fight rather then at the start. During the conversation with Hermes, Annabeth doesn't dub Zeus as blind and Percy doesn't accuse Hermes of abandoning Luke. Connor and Travis Stoll – The sons of Hermes and friends of Percy. Everyone thinks that they are twins but they are not. Many people assume that they are brothers because they are identical. They like to steal things from camp and love pranks.Annabeth Chase could punch me in the face and rob my home and I would thank her. I LOVE HER. What a wise, badass legend. Deserves the world. She did the MOST for the camp and I just love her so much. Achilles- Achilles is a hero who took a dip in the river Styx and became invulnerable. He gave advice to Percy when he decided to do it. Seeing the ship again twisted my gut into knots. I'd almost died twice on the Princess Andromeda. Now it was heading straight for New York. Percy dreams about Nico where the latter is trying to summon his mother’s ghost, but his sister's spirit forbids him to. Nico insists, but instead of his mother’s ghost he is met with a vision. In the vision, he sees Maria di Angelo and Hades in the era of World War II. The two are arguing about Nico and Bianca's safety. One criticism the movie adaptations received is how the main trio was aged up for the screen. The new adaptation will remain true to the character’s ages in the books, with a younger trio cast.
