Our verdict: “The Revolution You Are The Revolution 25 Day Advent Calendar 2022 is a fantastic beauty advent calendar for those who want in on the trend without spending a fortune. From what I’ve already unboxed, all of the products seem pretty universal for all skin tones, and therefore would make the ideal gift for your loved ones, or a treat for yourself.” Included in the Boots' No7 Ultimate 25 Days of Beauty Advent Calendar you'll find the entire Future Renew collection, which sold out in record time when it was released earlier this year. Hailed Boots No'7's 'most powerful' anti-ageing range to date, Future Renew promises to help to not only prevent signs of ageing, but to reverse them, too. However, I believe the correct way to open a 12 day advent calendar is to start on Boxing Day, and open the last box on January 6, celebrating the 12 days of Christmas. While they’re marketed as Advent calendars, even if you’re not intending to open them day-by-day, they can be worth it to get products for much cheaper than you'd normally buy them for separately. They're also great for dividing up as gifts for multiple friends/family members in hampers for Christmas or as birthday gifts throughout the year.”

The LookFantastic ‘Beauty Story’ 2022 Advent Calendar offers 25 windows stuffed with 26 beauty products from brands such as Elemis, Drunk Elephant and Philip Kingsley, as well as some more independent and high street brands. It quite literally looks fantastic, if you'll pardon the pun.

Our verdict: “Although it’s one of the more expensive beauty advent calendars I’ve been able to analyse this year, it’s one of the best too, featuring`brands and products I’ll genuinely use. There’s a really great variety included from makeup must-haves to TikTok sensations, each door truly holds a moment of beauty joy.” It’s December 1 which means many of us have rushed to open the first doors on our advent calendars this morning - be it chocolate, beauty or in my case, opening one filled with venison treats for my dogs.
