About this deal

As to why I subtracted .75 star? I don't know, I guess it was sort of predictable and I wish the banter and angst lasted longer. For example, Rowan is super insecure by the fact that he's a good artist so he hides that fact from Zahra. When Zahra needs to find someone to illustrate her ideas, Rowan gave Zahra the number of a guy he made up, Scott, and pretended to be him for a while, like at least a month. so now he’s your boss? but when u called him an asshole to his face he wasn’t? i don't understand this girl. i just want to punch her all the time. also she just has lots of embarrassing moments. she acted like an idiot all the time. and it annoys me so much bcos this had potential for me to be really good! you best believe i am reading Declan and Cal’s books... Cal, sir👀 if you’re looking for a heroine for your book look no further baby😘

Anyways, lazy recommendation aside...I came into this with the right set of expectations because I knew this was a romcom. One of the things that I liked, except Ani, was the texting interactions between the two main characters. That shined on Rowan's character more. It did bring more colors to the mundane romance. This is the most artificial love story I've ever read. The forced connection between the main characters is despicable, literally what is going on. It's giving Wattpad, and that is not a compliment.the romance, plot, and SMUT were equally parts 10/10! i love that this is the type of book in which SHE falls first but HE falls harder. i loved how their character traits cancelled each other out. how they thaw and breakdown each other’s walls. lauren is so smart for doing that shit. The Fine Print is the first book in Lauren Asher's new Dreamland Billionaires Series, and it was magical. This book is a billionaire, workplace romance with the grumpy x sunshine trope and it was INCREDIBLE.

the drama ? Idk this book just annoyed me . I could tell which moments I was supposed to swoon and go “awwww” but that’s not what happened . It felt immature for some reason and the writing style was so off . I don’t know if it was just too formal but it was evidently bad .There was a whole lot of cringe and eye roll moments ZAHRA A GIRLBOSS, I loved her so much. We don't get women as strong and as independent as her in fiction very often. AND I NEVER GET TIRED OF THESE CHARACTERS. She's this bright and intelligent person who took hardships in life and used them as a weapon to make herself a better person. THE FAVORITE PART OF THIS BOOK for me was Zahra's relationship with her sister Ani. And Ani was my favorite character. I have a soft spot for disability rep in fiction and THIS ONE was executed so well! I wouldn't say that any of the dialogue she was involved in was very realistic, but I can forgive that one. Being the heir to his family’s media empire, Declan is the CEO of a major legacy, but his grandfather’s will stipulates that he must marry and have an heir of his own. His assistant Iris then volunteers for the job, and the position seems simple at first; get married and have a baby together. They’re not supposed to fall in love, that is until a passion between them both begins to grow, one that they desperately try to fight off. Will they both end up together finally, is Declan going to continue his family’s legacy, and just what are the terms and conditions? OK FIRST OF ALL: y'all do such a shitty job at advertising books, this should be illegal. What's the point of saying: I am a bookstagrammer when you DON'T DISCLOSE important information? I was hooked from start to finish and was grinning non stop. The romance was perfection and Rowan had me swooning from start to finish. He watched Pride & Prejudice for her and that proved he was the perfect man.

boredom . Never at any point in this book was I interested . Was Bored throughout . DNF’d this book . Whatever it was supposed to focus on passed and the book just continued and diverged from that path without my noticing . I was left looking for the climax and purpose .gave up looking . now I didn’t think I’d enjoy this book as much as I did. because it’s giving me “Disneyland but for adults.” and grown ass adults obsessed with Disneyland already deserve the most brutal deaths in my opinion. /j…kinda Firstly Rowan , the love interest and pov no 2. To be plain , I just didn’t like him and once you don’t like or respect the main characters then that’s it for the book I guess . He was cold , rude , presumptuous and arrogant (not in the normal sense either )He was a JERK . Zara had this to say while they were together: My life went full-blown Dreamland princess in less than an hour. But instead of a prince on a horse, I ended up with Rowan–the perfect kind of morally gray hero I love reading about. I'm in the business of creating fairy tales. Theme parks. Production companies. Five-star hotels. Everything could be all mine if I renovated Dreamland. My initial idea of hiring Zahra was good in theory, but then I kissed her. People like me don't get happy endings. Not when we're destined to ruin them.
