About this deal

Like with most of the new characters, they are inside a different box instead of on their own. Still, the Boarding Patrols have had some pretty decent value, so there is nothing wrong with getting a new character and saving some cash. This box arrives in April, and it’s not the only Combat Patrol coming your way. Before the Aeldari get their turn, the Thousand Sons and Grey Knights are taking to the field with boxes of their own, both of which will be here in March. The greatest strength of Combat Patrol: Aeldari is its flexibility. Assemble your infantry as Storm Guardians and give the Wraithlord a ghostglaive to punch right through fortified enemy lines, or muster a squad of Guardian Defenders with a mobile Heavy Weapons Platform to hold the ground claimed by your blistering bikers.

Here are all the details for the new Warhammer 40k Combat patrols, along with Farsight and Snikrot releases with the pricing and links!A squad of six Windrider jetbikes* gives you plenty of speed to zoom around the board. Combined with Craftworld Saim-Hann’s bike-buffing sensibilities , these agile Aeldari can reach just about anywhere you need them from turn 1. That’s not to say they’re all whoosh and no wallop – their bikes carry plenty of upgraded shuriken weaponry for shredding any foe foolish enough to get in the way.

A cursory glance tells me that the Voidscarred are the more flavourful choice of kit – they have more options concerning loadouts, and cooler models (let’s be honest). That’s to be expected, considering this kit originated from Kill Team: Nachmund – so differing variants in the unit will have unique abilities. For example, the Way Seeker is a psyker, the Shade Runner can give extra mortal wounds after charging and the Felarch can throw his bird at the target, who loses any benefit of cover. Birds are vicious, after all. We’re at the lower end of the savings we’ve seen in the Boarding Patrol series so far – and the Aussies are getting particularly hard-done-by with this set. Boarding Patrol: Drukhari – Contents Ultimately, this is a decent Drukhari force. You get the best of both worlds – melee and shooting options galore. Infantry and specialists rolled into one. Wyches can shoot and sit on objectives, whilst the Succubus and Incubi can go in for the kill and really fudge your foes up. If your alignment is slightly more devious, Drukhari might be a better option than normal Eldar. Boarding Patrol: Grey KnightsPersonally, I wouldn’t recommend this army to a brand new player. I’m not going to lie: this list is going to be fighting an uphill battle. Until you get the hang of positioning and how to really dissect an opponent’s army it’s gonna be rough. But it’s thematic and rewarding to play! If you’re up for a challenge then have at it! Plenty of Boarding Patrol boxes are coming to join the fun – but the starfaring Aeldari are masters of sailing through the void, and their spiky cousins are no strangers to raiding stranded vessels and even space hulks. Boarding Patrol: Eldar As with the other Arks of Omen books, this is no different, with lore advances along with some new rules for gameplay and factions. Boarding Patrol: T’au Empire: (Savagely Allocated 2 Per Store) Every Ork player always needs more boyz, and this gives you just that plus the new Snikrot model too. (Delayed in Japan) Boarding Patrol: Aeldari The Wych Cults of Comorragh, meanwhile, are masterful marauders, despatching raiding parties to hunt down prisoners for the fighting pits, victims to render into gruesome stimulants, or slaves to pay off their shiny new razorflail.

Sneak into the Arks of Omen and cause some big green havoc with Boss Snikrot and his boyz. Boarding Patrol: Orks is a musclebound collection of tough-as-nails fighters led by the legendary Kommando Boss sporting a brand new model. In addition to Snikrot, you’ll board with five Flash Gitz, 10 Beast Snagga Boyz, and 10 Kommandos – who also drag along a reluctant Kommando Grot and far-too-enthusiastic Bomb Squig for the ride. Since we are leaning into that Saim-Hann theme it would be appropriate to snag another Combat Patrol box. Doubling down on this core allows us to do a few things. First, we get another 10 Guardians. We can use them to fill out the previous squad or use them as two 10-man squads. Either option is useful for various reasons. Second, it gives us a total of 12 Jetbikes. We’re gonna need them. The additional Farseer and Wraithlord are less helpful here but maybe not as terrible as you might think. Even more Boarding Patrols are preparing for mobilisation – sign up for the Warhammer Community newsletter to find out which other factions are getting ready to breach and clear next. It’s time to see what the Aeldari bring to the tabletop. Below, we have their points and optional upgrades calculated. This box can be used to assemble a variety of units – the recommended build for Boarding Action games is a Succubus, five Incubi, and two 10-model units of Wyches, each split into a further two squads. If you’ve seen our previous Boarding Patrol articles, you’ll see we’ve included points value and commentary on how to maximise what’s in the box for the tabletop – the side of the hobby that is sometimes forgotten over the sheen of ‘ooh, shiny model’. Not me though. Let’s see what the Sons of Mortarion can offer us. This is hard-hitting force includes three Crisis Battlesuits and a squad of 10 Fire Warriors, who are perfectly suited for close-quarters combat when assembled as a Breacher Team. The battlesuits have numerous short-ranged weapon options, which offer great utility against many different enemy types in tight spaces. Global prices have been estimated from similar-priced products. Boarding Patrol: Aeldari – Price Value & Savings Summary

Some people love the new-ish Voidscarred, so this might be a popular bundle option. Boarding Patrol: Drukhari Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group, or our new Discord server, and make sure you enter the latest monthly giveaway for FREE today! If your alignment is slightly more devious, Drukhari might be a better option than regular Craftworlds Eldar. Boarding Patrol Grey Knights (Allocated 1 Per Store) This box can be used to assemble a variety of units – the recommended build for Boarding Action games is 10 Necron Warriors, 10 Lychguard, three Ophydian Destroyers, and a Canoptek Plasmacyte. I don’t know if this would be a super effective army to be clear — but you’ve got some hammer units with the Terminators, Possessed, the Daemon Prince, and Abaddon. The Heldrake can cause problems. Plus you’ve got some boots for objective holding. It’s a start and needs to be refined for your playstyle but it can work.

Rules for playing Dark Depths games set in the unmapped underbelly of a space hulk, allowing you to mix-and-match eight board layouts Now, let’s have a look at how much the individual components in these boxes are worth were you to buy them seperately.
