Demeter's Cabin (#4) is covered in flowers and tomato plants grow on the walls and doorway. Wildflowers and roses grow on the porch. It has a real grass roof. The cabin is colored a light shade of brown. SCENE: Darkness. Suddenly, a single spotlight illuminates Apollo standing on the front porch of the Big House. The house is a bold red color, a stark contrast to the short white chiton Apollo wears. He clears his throat and speaks. The second line refers to the original Oracle of Delphi when she was a corpse in the attic and Seymour the leopard head. The Cabins, also known as Divine Cabins, at Camp Half-Blood each represent one of the Greek gods and goddesses. Demigods attending the camp stay in the respective cabins patronized by their immortal parents.
Sprinkled throughout are stories from heroes who have called Camp Half-Blood home or just passed through on their way to places unknown. Chiron himself introduces the book with a brief history of training based on his millennia of experience.Not all gods have cabins, despite what Percy said in The Last Olympian. However, cabins belonging to the other minor gods have not been built yet.
