About this deal

The battery life for Chromebooks is typically decent, but in the case of the CX1, it scrapes through as being pretty average. There are some areas where the CX1500 does well, like its 10 hour 18 minute battery life, but that's pretty much standard for Chromebooks nowadays. You'd think that a chip with a TDP of just 6W and a display with just 220 nits of brightness should at least squeeze out some extra juice. The same thing is also true once you lift up the lid of the CX1, as you’re greeted with a compact 60% keyboard layout and an awful lot of empty space. Other laptops with this chassis space will at least provide you with a number pad, which would have been welcome here. ASUS Chromebook Flip CX1 laptops undergo multiple laptop quality tests but are not subject to all tests stated. The testing data includes the requirements of both military-grade standards and ASUS quality tests.

If we talk about the Asus Chromebook CX15, the 4GB+64GB variant is priced at Rs.19,990, the 4GB+128GB model is priced at Rs.20,990, and the 8GB+64GB variant is priced at Rs.21,990. ASUS Chromebook CX14 & Chromebook CX15: Specifications and features ASUS Chromebook Flip CX5 is certified with ASUS WiFi Master for ChromeOS. Device certified with WiFi Master for ChromeOS feature WiFi 6E and offer enhanced WiFi stability when USB 3.2 Gen 2 interference is present, allowing users to stream smoothly when they are up to 225 meters away from a router. WiFi 6E network card is available on selected models. The connectivity of WiFi 6E band may vary according to the regulation and certification of each country/ region.

The Asus Chromebook CX1 isn’t going to turn many heads with its design or build quality. While its silver colouring and smooth finish on the top surface look fine, I can’t help but feel underwhelmed by the way the CX1 feels in hand. By contrast to other more budget Chromebooks like the Acer Chromebook 314, it just feels generic. Elsewhere, this Asus Chromebook CX1500 model supplies a 64GB eMMC hard drive, as well as a 38Wh battery that can supposedly last 11 hours on a single charge. The testing regime includes the requirements of both military-grade standards and ASUS quality tests, and varies depending on device. MIL-STD-810 testing is conducted on selected ASUS products only. Note that the MIL-STD-810 testing helps to ensure the quality of ASUS products but does not indicate a particular fitness for military use. The test is performed under laboratory conditions. Any damage caused by attempts to replicate these test conditions would be considered accidental, and would not be covered by the standard ASUS warranty. Additional coverage is available with ASUS Premium Care.

Of course, it runs on Google’s Chrome OS. This lightweight operating system places the onus on online applications and usage, though it’s not without offline functionality.Unless otherwise stated, WiFi speeds are based on theoretical performance. Actual performance may vary. For a larger display like this 15.6-inch panel, a low resolution doesn’t help matters, especially since the gap between pixels is noticeable when watching videos Disney Plus or Netflix. Chromebooks have always been the bastion of budget computing, and Asus’ large-screen candidate – the CX1 – aims to sustain that trend.Perhaps most impressively of all, the Asus Chromebook CX1500 has undergone industry-leading MIL-STD 810H4 US military tests, which means it’ll stand up to more rough and tumble than your average laptop. We’re talking extremes of temperature ranging from 50 to zero degrees, 85% humidity, 25kg of pressure, and more.

The 6 GHz band availability varies according to country. This flexible display is connected to a full-sized chiclet keyboard with 1.4mm of key travel, so it should prove comfortable to type on too.The stated width of the side bezel is the distance between the edge of the non-active screen display area and the inside edge of the case. If the case width is included, the side bezel width is 4 mm. The stated width of the bottom bezel is the distance between the edge of the non-active screen display area and the visible edge of the display when the laptop is opened to 90 °. These measurements are based on the standard (without anti-glare) display configuration. ASUS Chromebook CX1 keyboard is spill-resistant, not waterproof. Water damage is possible if the product is submerged or exposed to large amounts of liquids for long periods of time. ASUS standard limited warranty does not cover problems resulting from accidents such as water damage. To prevent water damage resulting from large spills or other accidents, ASUS recommends turning off the notebook, then tilting the laptop to drain away the excess liquid, wipe off and let it dry for at least 24 hours.
