There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, ( BC)who [ j] do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For ( BD)the law of ( BE)the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from ( BF)the law of sin and death. 3 For ( BG)what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, ( BH)God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who ( BI)do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For ( BJ)those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, ( BK)the things of the Spirit. 6 For ( BL)to be [ k]carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because ( BM)the [ l]carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, ( BN)nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. For when you were ( AA)slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. 21 ( AB)What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For ( AC)the end of those things is death. 22 But now ( AD)having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit [ g]to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. 23 For ( AE)the wages of sin is death, but ( AF)the [ h]gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Freed from the Law Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? 2 Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? 3 Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? 4 For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.

Prayer: Lord, thank You that You love and care for me. Thank You that I can know Your favour and blessing on my life. I humbly bring my requests to You and ask that You would do miracles, in my life and in my situation. Amen. What shall we say then? ( FK)Is there injustice on God's part? By no means! 15 For he says to Moses, ( FL)“I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” 16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion, [ r] but on God, who has mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, ( FM)“For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” 18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills.Therefore do not let sin ( T)reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts, 13 and do not go on ( U)presenting your members to sin as [ f]instruments of unrighteousness, but ( V)present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as [ g]instruments of righteousness to God. 14 For ( W)sin shall not ( X)be master over you, for ( Y)you are not under law but ( Z)under grace. Heirs with ChristSince we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was. 6 We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. 7 For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin. 8 And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with him. 9 We are sure of this because Christ was raised from the dead, and he will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him. 10 When he died, he died once to break the power of sin. But now that he lives, he lives for the glory of God. 11 So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus. But of Israel he says, ( HU)“All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.” The Remnant of Israel In the same way, you must think of yourselves as dead to the power of sin. But Christ Jesus has given life to you, and you live for God.
