About this deal

When I was pregnant, we went to the shops to test out lots of prams. We were torn between buying a substantial pram or a really compact one. In the end, I’m really pleased we went with the Yoyo! It’s ideal for London, which is where we use it the majority of the time. It’s rare we need something suitable for rough terrain, and if we do, we use our Ergobaby carrier. There’s also a little tether strap on the main handlebar which is great to keep a firm grip on the pram while you’re out and about. Macca pushing the Yoyo Most US cities will require a car seat, correct. However, for everyday use in the city I would just use the bassinet part or reclined seat because babies shouldn’t be rolling in car seats all the time because it’s bad for their spine. In the US it’s a norm, because people just follow the trend, but it’s a big no-no everywhere else. As buggies go, the Babyzen Yoyo+ is a modern classic, looking both contemporary and stylish. It feels and looks as expensive as you’d expect from such a high value item. Can I get the Babyzen Yoyo+ in different colours? Ergo has adjustable parental bar while Yoyo doesn’t. It can be a pro, but also a con as adjustable things are naturally more prone to loosening up and wobbling.

I didn’t find pushing the stroller any problematic though, and neither did my husband that’s 6’1. It’s actually higher than on most other compact strollers When we were choosing our pram, we narrowed our decision to these options. I haven’t gone into the pros and cons of each, but we’re very happy with our decision to buy the Yoyo2! I also want to add that I bought this stroller so this is a completely unbiased review! Using our Yoyo pushchair in London

Is it good value for money?

As for the brake, it is situated on the right and is really easy to use. It is quite small compared to other brake pedals our tested tried, so it's more fiddly to find with your foot. It’s also worth noting that we have a small car (Toyota Yaris) and I would have struggled to fit a larger pram in our boot. The Yoyo slides in easily, leaving plenty of room for luggage (which when you have a baby, there’s a lot of!) Babyzen Yoyo2 Suspension and Wheels I have this one and it works great and the stroller CAN FOLD with it just fine, but it’s just an extra you want to add – for us it’s a must! I cannot imagine life without it, because with my older son, we don’t strap him as he goes in and out all the time and the bar is crucial. Bassinets only are on international flights and only on big planes (so for example, if you’re coming from the US to Mexico there are no bassinets). Booking them is not automatic at all and the way you book it depends on the airline – with some you can reserve in advance online, others only do it at the gate, others you need to call for and request (never guaranteed). Either way, it’s always first come first serve so if there are 40+ babies like on Italy-USA flights only 4 people get them. Realistically speaking babies always fly on your lap and must be on your lap for take-off and landing and turbulences. You can pay for a seat for your baby (then you pay full price instead of the 10% fee) but you need to bring an airline approve car seat for that and you can only put it by the window.

How big is your 2.5-year-old in terms of height? Most kids in Italy at this age don’t use strollers around the city on the daily basis – they walk and only occasionally hop in when it’s really an all-day event. That said, unless you’re planning more kids it might be easier to just get something cheaper. The Yoyo+ is available in a great selection of eight colours and even comes with two frame colour options. The high level of personalisation available to parents really impressed our tester. How easy is it to clean? It takes a ton of space in the car. Especially in Europe if you rent a smaller vehicle you will have issues putting the passenger’s seat in a comfortable position if you put Doona behind it. In the US, Yoyo harness requires a different release button, but you can remove the top strap and make it a 3-point harness, which is what we mostly use when the kids are small. Overall, the Babyzen Yoyo2 stroller is a fantastic option for parents looking for a lightweight, compact, and versatile stroller that can handle daily life, travel and everything in between.
