First impressions

Let me start off by saying that I am a concealer snob. I’ve always had issues with dark circles under my eyes and have tried just about everything and anything to help diminish them. What interested me most about this concealer was that it is technically half makeup and half skincare. It uses hyaluronic acid which helps to moisturize and visibly plump my under-eye area and it also helps improve the appearance of dark shadows and fine lines. The Superluminous Serum Concealer is available in eight shades from Fair to Deep Dark and I used the Light Medium shade. After applying my foundation, I grabbed this concealer and applied a few dots along my under-eyes and began blending in with a concealer brush. I was immediately amazed at how easily the formula blended into my skin and how lightweight it felt. A little goes a long way and I felt like my under-eyes looked a little brighter, but not too shiny or illuminated. It definitely gave great coverage and left me looking more well rested! Some are formulated for the under-eye area, and you can wear some all over your face—they’ll be a little sheerer if you’re using them for something besides your eyes. They also have hydrating properties to nourish your skin.
