When the gelatine was removed from the cult classic a year ago they dipped in quality, losing their chew and becoming unpleasantly spongy. I’ll admit the fact that these pig-shaped sweets contained actual, you know, pig, wasn’t ideal. It was particularly uncomfortable when you considered some of Percy’s spin-offs - the dismembered “phizzy tails” and “rosy noses” - at which point it all started to become slightly macabre.
