About this deal

U.S. Route 1 runs north–south briefly along New Hampshire's seacoast to the east of and paralleling I-95. Hospitals and oth er NHS bodies across the country will join hundreds of other organisations in flying a special flag to mark Windrush Day on 22 June. You can fly two flags on the same flagpole within the grounds of a building (the regulations refer to ‘curtilage’) provided one of the flags is from category (a) (flags which do not need consent) and that flag is flown in the superior position. The badge, being adopted in around one in three of England’s acute trusts, is a simple image of an NHS logo superimposed on the rainbow pride flag, which can be worn on NHS staff lanyards or on uniforms.

The Government has also cut red tape to allow dual flagging – where two flags can be flown on one pole. Where organisations have two flag poles, they can fly the Union flag alongside another flag. This will allow organisations to highlight their local identity alongside their national identities, for example by flying a Middlesex county flag alongside the Union flag in London, or the Saltire alongside the Union flag in Scotland. Other flags may also be flown on non-designated days including a Saint’s Day or county day. NHS organisations can use the NHS75 mark in the same way that they can freely use the NHS lozenge, unless intended for a commercial partnership. You will be able to access this on NHS CommsLink or via your communications team. Partner organisations The Union Flag is the National Flag of the United Kingdom, and it is so called because it embodies the emblems of the constituent nations united under one Sovereign - the Kingdoms of England and Wales, of Scotland and of Northern Ireland.According to the Energy Information Administration, New Hampshire's energy consumption and per capita energy consumption are among the lowest in the country. The Seabrook Station Nuclear Power Plant, near Portsmouth, is the largest nuclear reactor in New England and provided 57% of New Hampshire's electricity generation and 27% of its electricity consumption in 2017. In 2016 and 2017, New Hampshire obtained more of its electricity generation from wind power than from coal-fired power plants. Approximately 32% of New Hampshire's electricity consumption came from renewable resources (including nuclear, hydroelectric, wind, and other renewable resources). New Hampshire was a net exporter of electricity, exporting 63 trillion British thermal units (18 TWh). [84] As well as celebrating the contribution of the Windrush Generation to the NHS, Windrush Day is an opportunity to recognise the support the NHS has received from people from across the world over the last 75 years, including today’s workforce which currently represents over 200 nationalities.
