I do like the colour scheme and futuristic design, which looks generic enough that you cvould repurpose it quite easily for a sci-fi or space MOC. Next, we have the long-awaited re-release of She-Hulk minifigure, based on her Disney+ series version where Tatiana Maslany plays the Hulk’s lawyer cousin, Jen Walters. Mr. Knight’s appearance isn’t as impressive as Moon Knight’s but more than meets the brief and is a nice companion to the vastly superior Moon Knight. I feel like characters like Hawkeye, Wolverine, Goliath, and maybe even The Werewolf could’ve been far better utilised on more important characters like the Scarlet Scarab, Kang the Conqueror, Loki’s Mobius, Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel), Vision (from Wandavision), or even someone from Secret Invasion, or an OG X-Men character like Gambit, Rogue or Jubilee. Moon Knight is simply exxceptional, and one of the most detailed LEGO Minifigures ever. The printing is near-flawless and I’m amazed at just how much care and attention went into Moon Knight’s design.

Agatha is a great minifigure, and fans of Wandavision have been waiting a long time to get their hands on her, as she makes for a great companion to Marvel Series 1’s Scarlet Witch. This is the second LEGO Marvel minifigures series and a sequel to Marvel Series 1 which released in 2021. Moon Knight is hands down the best minifigure of Marvel Series 2 and a strong contender for Minifigure of the Year. Moon Knight’s elaborate mummy-esque details are rendered amazingly across every single surface and it’s been a while since I’ve had a Collectible Minifigure make me go, wow! Here’s Moon Knight and Mr. Knight together and they look great as a pair. I do think iy would’ve been way better if we had Scarlet Scarab included as well with how prominent she was in the TV series, and how cool her character design is.

Agatha’s minifigure has detailed printing across her torso and skirt piece, with the fabric detail extending quite seamlessly. She comes with a purple fabric cape, and two trans-purple power blasts Here’s a comparison with an adult LEGO owl. The Baby Owl is a nice surprise and it’s great to see LEGO still using the Collectible LEGO Minifigures series to introduce new animal moulds. Kate Bishop’s outfit is fantastic with the LEGO designers making great use of colours and subtle use of side leg printing and arm printing to enhance the screen-accuracy of her minifigure.Next up we have Clint Barton, better known as Hawkeye, one of the founding members of the Avengers and co-star of the Hawkeye TV series. He’s in his purple outfit here and features a new medium tan wig, first used for Olly from LEGO Friends. The cape looks great, and so is her brand new wig, which has her hair styled up as a mohawk, which looks fantastic and contrasts very nicely against her darker complexion.

Marvel fans will no doubt be happy with the selection, but you’ll likely be left thinking if this was the best LEGO Marvel roster for Series 2.LEGO Marvel Minifigures Series 2 will have the unfortunate honour of being completely overshadowed by the transition from blind bags to blind boxes, effectively eliminating a tradition that has been in place since 2010. Don’t get me wrong, this is a great Wolverine minifigure, probably the best one that LEGO has ever produced. But with Wolverine recently making an appearance in a Mech Armour, it feels a bit like a wasted slot in a 12-character series, where more obscure characters that might not have the opportunity to show up in regular sets should have been given the time to shine. This isn’t Storm’s first appearance as a LEGO, having appeared in 2014’s 76022 X-Men vs The Sentinel but this is her first appearance in her white suit, which imho, is such an iconic look for her.
